Thomas Tran is quite intimidating but it’s a good thing. It made me learn to be transparent and be truthful. I told him my situation and he was pretty shocked on what happened at the other location. Even though the cost of everything was still expensive, he truly listened to my situation. And he took care of me and my car. Him and the technicians. Looks like I found a new home to go to if I have any issues. Definitely worth 40 min drive. Thank you Thomas and his team of technicians

This place is just a constant let down and it’s my fault for ever trying to give them second chances. They wanted to change my fog lights as apart of regular maintenance, the fog lights that work? They wanted to refuse changing my flat tire that was under warranty (which is still a cost that I never paid at discount tires) because the lug nuts were tight and they want over $200 for a new set. Ultimately I told them they could get them off because I had, just a few weeks before to check my brakes, and then suddenly they were able to do it but only after wasting a bunch of time. They are always trying to smooth talk it over but in the end I always get the short end of the stick with them.

I’ve been coming to this location for a couple of years now, and Richard Castillo has always been my service advisor. I highly recommend him. He’s quick to respond whenever I need to schedule an appointment, and his customer service is consistently excellent. If my car needs maintenance or repairs, he always explains everything clearly and honestly never pushy or pressuring, which I appreciate the most. He respects your time, your budget, and your decisions. Richard truly goes above and beyond to make each visit smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find someone this reliable, communicative, and trustworthy in the service industry. And if it’s your first time visiting Findlay Toyota and you don’t yet have a service advisor, just mention his name “Richard Castillo” when you park your car. You’ll be in great hands. Lastly, To whoever decided to add additional responsibilities to the service advisors, I respectfully disagree with this change. They already have a full workload, and adding more tasks may affect the quality of service they provide. Their focus should remain on assisting customers, not taking on extra administrative work.

I had the worse experience in my life at Findlay Toyota. I called Findlay to see if there was a way I can get out of my contact. I bought a 2018 Toyota Highlander during covid and paid $20k over market price because everything was expensive during covid. I paid for 3.5 years already out of a 72 month loan and owed $19k left. The finance manager I talked to is name Ethamar Kosa. He said come in and we'll see what we can do. I came in the following Monday and talked to his sales guy Carlos Ramirez. From the get go he kept trying to sell me a car. The reason I came in is to see if there was any way I could return it because I've been paying on it for awhile. If I wanted to buy a car then I would of went through my only guy I deal with there for 8 years name Tai King. Tai is a great guy and will help you no matter what. After Carlos ran my credit he took me out to see a nice top of the line gray Sienna. I agreed to get it then when we get back inside he said to me we are putting you in another Sienna. A white lower model. The other one was too high for you. Why did you show it to me and said I can get it? After he said that he said the lower model costs $38k. You will need to put $2k down. I said I don't have it. He said we will give you a Toyota credit card for $2k then we can charge it for your down payment. I said I don't want to pay for the car and the card at the same time. He goes to his boss and says you don't have to put anything down. Pay $1100 a month for 84 months. I said I can't, my budget is $800 a month. He goes and comes back and says $1000 a month for 84 months. I said I can't. He goes and comes back and said $900 a month for 84 months. Every time he came back I said let me think about it and talk to my wife. He never let me go home and talk to her in person. He would not take no for an answer. I told him that I might get a car allowance at work in January but it's not for sure. He said its only 2 more months til January. I don't want to get it and I don't get my car allowance. He was really pressuring me to get it right away. I kept telling him to just wait till I get my car allowance and I'll come back when I get it. I said my insurance might go up. He said we have car insurance here as well. I know he wouldn't stop harassing me so I agreed on the last deal he said $900 a month for 84 months because I had to pick up my son and take my friend that I promised to the airport at 4:30. When I agreed it was 2:30 and I told Carlos and Ethamar that I have to go pick up my son at 3. I live 40 mins away from Findlay Toyota. When I said that, they didn't say anything. If they would of had any kind of sympathy then they would of said "yea, go pick up your son and you can come back here. " After they didn't say anything I said I guess I'll tell my wife to go pick him up. She had to leave work and go get him and missed out on a lot of money from her job. I didn't leave til 4:45 and was super late picking up my friend. She was really made at me and it was an awkward ride to the airport. When I went to sign the contract it said my interest rate is 6.7%. My credit is 741 now and every time I finance a car with Findlay my interest has always been 5.9%. Ethamar said it's because Im on the 7 year loan. Now I know why they want me on the 7 year. So my intereat would be higher. I would of imagined since my credit is good and Ive been with Toyota for so long then my interest would be lower than the usual I been paying. They took the $12k I still owe on my Highlander that I was paying 5.9% and put it on my new total loan and now Im paying 6.7%. That's some really shady business. After paying $900 a month for 72 months then will by paying $75.5k for a car that I bought for $38k. I come home with the car my wife went off on me saying why didn't I wait to talk to her more about it. I said I couldn't. They wouldn't take no for an answer or let me leave. Continued on next page.
