    Our highest praise is reserved for the buying experience at this dealership. Chris Corrigan, who has sold us our Volvos for the past 30 years, joined Ramsey Volvo a few years ago—and we followed him. He is the consummate professional: approachable, knowledgeable, efficient, and honest. Ramsey is lucky to have him! As for the dealership and their service department, they are very organized and rather more corporate than we are used to, but I do have to say that they get the job done. Clearly following protocol works for them!

    Jamás he echo una reseña, pero esta ocasión lo amerita ya q desde q puse un pie en Volvo Ramsey hasta q me fui d ahí mi experiencia fue maravillosa y le agradezco d todo corazón al señor Chris Corrigan d ventas y a la mánager Jasmine Estevez por su atención , dedicación y sus deseos d ayudar y poner esfuerzo y trabajo a lo q hacen, son unos excelentes seres humanos q te hacen tus deseos realidad. Les recomiendo este concesionario (Volvo Ramsey) a todas las personas q quieran un carro bien lindo, pero también un lindo trato y una experiencia maravillosa.

    I made a trip to Ramsey auto on rt 17 south. I met with Mike Taylor. I showed him what I was looking for. He showed the cars from his computer. I requested two xc60 vehicles in black. One all black, and one black on black. I went back this Wednesday morning and after looking at the cars I went for a black xc60 volvo. Not the black on black. We worked together doing the paperwork and calling my insurance company. Mike was so helpful and respectful. He never pushed or said let's go. He took all the time needed to help me with the paperwork and preparing the car the rest of the way. Mike listened and understood what I wanted and what i didn't want. I recommend both the Ramsey dealership on south 17 and Mike Taylor . By the way, I thank all the people that helped me in getting the car ready to take home.

    They told me the car needs a wheel rotation for $57 so I said ok. When I checked at home, the same tire scuff hasn't moved from the original spot. Why would they charge me, not do the work, then not even tell me that the work wasn't done?? When I called Ramsey they then said that my car can’t get rotations because it has a staggered setup. It’s been over a week and they still have not given me my refund and only the runaround.

    Going to be a bit long, but I wanted to take my time to write a thoughtful review about my experience purchasing experience. Overall, I would say it was an above average experience. There were a few frustrating moments that kept it from being great. We actually visited the dealership three times over the course of 3-4 months. Our first visit was just for a simple test drive since I was comparing different vehicles. Danny, the sales person, was helpful but we weren’t ready to purchase yet. On our second visit, we spoke with a different salesperson about numbers, but that experience was underwhelming. I don’t think he took us seriously. He was yawning a lot and seemed disinterested. Long day I guess. We couldn’t agree on numbers, so we walked away. A few weeks later, the price dropped. Ironically, the price went down very close to what we offered out the door on our second visit. So the car could’ve been sold to us weeks earlier if the response we got at the time wasn’t “this is the best price/offer we can do.” For anyone car shopping, please don’t believe that. All car prices are negotiable. It just comes down to the willingness of both sides to agree. But I get it…it’s part the process. Customers want to save as much as they can, and dealerships need to make profit. They’re a business after all. And we actually ended up getting an extend warranty. So it’s not always about saving as much as we can on the purchase price. I reached out Danny, who was unavailable, but put me in contact with Mike. Mike was professional. He communicated well (for the most part), worked around my schedule, and even brought up a Costco discount I’d forgotten to mention — really appreciated that. The process was fairly smooth overall, and I appreciated his straightforward approach. Where things could’ve been better was around transparency fees and the vehicle condition. When it came time to finalize, some additional “pre-owned” fees appeared that hadn’t been discussed earlier. Mike apologized and owned the mistake, but still, an unexpected surprise. We went ahead and agreed to purchase the car. On pickup day, we noticed a couple of significant stains on the interior roof. We asked if the stains could be cleaned out. I could sense the frustration when we asked about it. Tom, the sales manager (who was very friendly), explained that they tried, but couldn’t remove it and why. He did offered to have us bring the car back as many times as we’d like to try and remove the stains at no additional charge. Turns out…I was able to remove most of it myself. It was easy but wasn’t hard. All it needed was a little bit more effort and attention on the detailing, which was actually part of the “pre-owned” fees I mentioned. Another point for frustration. But we’ll take Tom at his word and take it back to see if they can do the rest. So I think 4 stars is accurate for our experience. Volvo is considered a luxury brand, and the car itself (an XC60) is really nice. We’re liking it a lot so far. The sales team was pretty good, with professional and respectful service. Mike and Adam (the Finance Manager) were nice to work with. Some room for improvement in transparency and attention to detail. Again, not suggesting anything was intentional, but as a customer, that’s all most of us want. We plan on getting any services needed done here, so hoping it’ll be a smoother experience from here on out!
