  We purchased a used 2008 RV from Lakewood Camping World, and it’s been an absolute nightmare from the start. They sold it to us “as-is” after claiming they performed a full safety check, which they never did. The unit wasn’t even cleaned before pickup, just to be petty. Within 45 miles of leaving the lot, every single dashboard gauge failed, no gas reading, no speedometer, no temperature gauge, nothing. Because of this, the RV overheated during a trip, putting us in a dangerous situation. It’s clear they sold us a completely unsafe and uninspected vehicle. We are considering pursuing the lemon law. To make matters worse, they botched the title paperwork, forcing us to spend even more time and money at the DMV just to fix their mistake. Camping World Lakewood has shown zero accountability, zero honesty, and zero integrity. They knowingly put our safety at risk. Do NOT buy from this location or any camping world. They are dishonest, negligent, and dangerous.

  I’ve never given a one-star review in my life, but this experience was not only a loss for me in many ways it was also a complete waste of time. I brought my RV in for consignment in early September. I was told they would conduct an inspection and then place it on the lot for sale. Once I dropped it off that day the manager never once reached out with an update. I contacted them multiple times and occasionally received a brief response, but never a single proactive update about how the RV was doing or whether there was any interest. The first call I received from them ironically from their service department was to inform me that they had winterized the RV and that I owed them for the service, which I never authorized. I explained to the woman at the front desk how disappointed I was with the lack of communication. The manager never once called to address the issue or provide an update. Upon pickup, I discovered they had lost one of my keys. I had given them three sets; only two were returned. I’m certain the original pair had a small silver tab that key was missing. I spent countless hours driving and taking Ubers just to try to get this RV sold. In the end, it was a huge waste of my time. I wish they had shown even a little respect for people’s time and effort. They didn’t just fail to follow through they cost me over 10 hours of my life that I’ll never get back plus about $150 in Uber fares. If you’re considering doing business with them, please read this review first.

  Worst experience, sales/consignment manager not truthful have had my RV for 5 months, had agreed on purchase price now backtracking and wants me to consign after they have me upgrade a worn recliner cost me over 4k and now they will not purchase from me AFTER we verbally had an agreement. Comical that the owner Marcus has his voice on the complaint dept saying if I am not happy he is not happy. I guess he is not truthful either.

  Worst company ever had my 5th wheel there 5 months trying to sell it they don’t answer my calls they don’t do what they say they are going to do. Than they low ball once they get u to bring there . Pathetic customer service

  What a scam. They live up to Camping World's horrible reputation. Was in contact with an employee and sent them all the pictures and videos of my RV I was selling. They sent back an offer for over $9,000 for them to buy it, pending inspection. I took it to their dealership intending to sell it today and understanding they were probably going to come back at a lower price anyway, but not that low. They came back with an offer of $3,000. With the inspection coming up as the paint being faded. Apparently faded paint is $6,000 meanwhile they knew and saw that the RV is almost 10 years old. Faded paint is very typical for an RV of that age and otherwise very good condition. Stay away. They are conmen
