    This parking lot is now run by a company called Metropolis and it's a scam. You have to pay using a QR code and you can't see the charge before you provide your payment method. Once you do, they charge you whatever they want and it has no relation to the posted rates. Additionally, they tack on a 10% "Service Fee" that isn't disclosed and isn't for any service - it's just a 10% price upcharge. If you try to contact them, they have an AI bot that replies and no humans. It's disappointing Jersey City doesn't have any publicly owned parking lots and has chosen to do away with so much street parking.

    🚫Avoid Grove Pointe Parking Garage for Monthly Parking (Jersey City)🚫 I parked here for two months, paying almost $390 every month, and what I got was absolute garbage service. It felt like I was throwing money away just to deal with rude staff, chaos, hidden fees, and constant frustration. This place is a complete nightmare. 1. The short-haired woman working here has an extremely rude attitude. Even during normal conversations, she suddenly becomes hostile and talks in a very disrespectful way. It’s beyond me why they would keep such unprofessional, rude employees. 2. After they switched to a new system, not only do customers have to pay the monthly fee, but they also charge an extra $10+ ā€œprocessing feeā€ every month. 3. I literally live in the building right next to this garage, yet they kept charging me the non JC resident rate and refused to fix it. 4. Many times, after I parked, they would call me to move my car because they ā€œneeded to clean the floor.ā€ There was never any email or prior notice. 5. I already paid for monthly parking, and I added my card in their new payment system on App, yet on the very first day after the system switch, they still randomly charged me an extra daily parking fee without reason. 6. Both front and back entrances get locked at night with no clear instructions. Cars can’t enter, people can’t get in, and you may not be able to access your car at all 7. Overall, the management of this garage is a complete mess. If you are considering monthly parking in JC, Do yourself a favor and stay away from this garage!!!

    Had a less than positive experience and was trapped for over an hour in here. For starters, the ground floor payment machine's card reader didn't work, but I had enough cash ($10). And the first time I scanned my ticket, the garage door closed before I had time to react. The first time I called support, I was charged $21 but still couldn't leave because the garage door didn't open. After talking to a receptionist in the building or trying to press the lost ticket option, I called support again and just said I lost my ticket. I still have my ticket and my receipts, this was just easier than explaining my situation. After $30 extra and coordinating to manually open the garage and grab my card quick enough to leave like a secret agent, I escaped. I would recommend that others keep their wits about them here. I'd be happy to talk to a support team about the situation. Edit: I appreciate the refund and heard the system was revamped from a friend so credit where it's due

    Thanks for the reply. I'm updating my review because in retrospect I was maybe more frustrated at the area around the garage (not your garage, employees or anything) and used this as an outlet. I had people running red lights and stop signs while in the car and walking my children around. I did have a little trouble finding the pay station and stairs but in retrospect, that specifically wasn't a big deal, I was just already extremely frustrated because of the reckless drivers in the neighborhood. Please accept my 5-Star review as my apology for my initial negative review which was not warranted and I'll be using your facility in the future.
