SCAM ALERT! Went for a game, paid my parking. A month later I get a notice in the mail stating I “owe” $75. I called their costumer service line, and stated I paid my parking on that date and the lady on the phone brought up a whole DIFFERENT DATE, in which I wasn’t even there. I explained I was NOT THERE on that date and she put me on hold. When she came back she explained that I DID IN FACT PAY, on the date I got the notice, and she tried to say I still owe MORE MONEY for dates where I NEVER EVEN PARKED THERE. Made no sense, I explained multiple times I have never been there before (said date) and she said “oh well um” and she got lost in her own words. After a few moments of going back and forth with this “extra cost” in which I NEVER OWED, she said my “case is closed” and I don’t need to do anything on my end. WHAT A SCAM. NO ONE FALL FOR THEIR TRICKS!!

I’ve been parking here for years, and it used to be so much easier when we could just pay cash before entering the lot. Recently, I forgot to pay through the app until I was already on the train, and unfortunately, there’s no way to pay unless you’re physically inside the lot. When I returned to my car, I was shocked to see that a $12 parking fee had turned into $66 with added charges. That feels unreasonable, especially during times when life is already tough financially. Street parking doesn’t even come with fees that high. Honestly, I think I’ll start taking the bus to the train instead, because parking here no longer makes sense.

Be aware that Metropolis is an extremely untrustworthy company. This lot may post fixed prices, but that's not how they operate in other cities. (In other places they use dynamic pricing - you have no idea what you'll be charged until it hits your card. That earned them a big class action lawsuit in my hometown.)
There's no confirm/pay button on the website, you just enter your CC number and hope you don't get gouged. There's no assurance that Metropolis won't charge me some arbitrary higher amount like I've experienced in the past.
I don't even like to carry cash, but I've done it for this lot for years! I'd pay in pennies before I give Metropolis my business again.

I paid to enter and STILL GOT A PRIVATE NOTICE TICKET! I’m not sure how that is even legal. Avoid this lot at all costs, they are scam artists.
