Diligent, efficient, and kind employees and owner. Takes the time to talk to customers to make sure you understand the situation of your vehicle. Fair with pricing and don't high ball you for the heck of it. Overall great shop, workers, and experience.

My dad is a former high ranking military officer of 20 years. We ONLY take our vehicles here. My dad will bring his and my mothers, they take care of me and my sister, brother in law and both niece and nephew. They are honest, loyal and do the job. My dad started out in transportation in the Army before he became much more. He knows cars and says this is the best in town and my sister and her husband drive 2 hrs to just see them for all car issues. I wish I could give them more than. 5 stars! 💯😎👏🏻

On Wednesday afternoon, 8/27, I dropped my 1995 Ford truck off and went through the whole intake process detailing my issues with ignition, brakes needing service, oil change, etc. I walked Butch out to the vehicle and showed him how to start it, as I’d been tripping the solenoid under the hood to start it. I received a call back from Butch before they closed saying that they had accidentally discarded all of the info in my file and needed me to detail the issues once again. I then received a call the next day from a different employee, Daniel, asking for all of that information for a 3rd time, and that they needed me to explain how to start the truck again. After explaining again and hanging up, they called back and said that they were unwilling to work on my truck at all due to my ignition interlock device being removed, which I had told them from the first time I called Butch before dropping it off. I was told I needed to come pick up my vehicle and they half-heartedly apologized for the inconvenience. At this point it started to feel they did not want my business. Whether an interlock device is attached or not has nothing to do with the ability to work on the truck. Even after calling the interlock place, Smart Start, and confirming authorization of work to be done on the vehicle, they still wouldn’t even attempt to fix my issue with the key not starting the truck. Plus they were going to charge an hour of labor for time spent on the phone for all of this. Crazy! Anyways, I’m now 6 days without a vehicle (with a business holiday in there— I’ll give them that) and called to see if they had begun work on my truck (brake pads and rotors) and they said they hadn’t started it yet. Aghhhh, I don’t care how long they’ve been in business or what the reviews say, this is one of the WORST shop experiences I’ve had in Wilmington, and I’ve had a few as a community member who has lived in several neighborhoods around town. Very unprofessional and the attitude and tone of Daniel needs to be corrected as I’ve been very understanding and patient and even willing to pay the ridiculous additional hour of labor they tacked on for having to make a phone call (which turned out to be unnecessary anyways). Most shops would have brakes and rotors done within 2 days max, and that’s being generous. Plenty of other shops that would make you feel more comfortable, encouraged, with less hassle, cheaper pricing, and less overall headache and inconvenience. I’m now sorry that I had faith in the one shop that was convenient and proximal to where I live.
