- MSMandi Sumners2 days ago5.0I was leery when I first arrived due to a bad experience at another camping world, but salesman Chuck was welcoming, helpful, and honest right off the bat. After telling him what we were looking for, he helped us narrow it down and showed us around without any sales pressure. His knowledge and experience in the camping industry is unmatched. We ended up purchasing a Coleman keystone 13b. The finance guy (I can't remember his name but I'll update it when I get home to the paperwork) was incredibly helpful and honest as well, giving us his honest opinion on the coverage would need and not need for our new rig. Evan (technician) showed us around our camper before we left. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with telling us what supplies we would need to get started. Chuck even rode around the lot with us a few times to make sure we were comfortable towing our camper and gave us pointers along the way. He stayed after closing until all our questions were answered (there were a lot!) and even followed up a few days later to make sure we were still doing well. I would go back to this camping world in a heartbeat for all my future needs.

I have repeatedly tried to cancel my service agreement, but despite sending a certified mail request and making at least 15 phone calls, the dealer has not returned my calls or processed the paperwork. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this dealership.

Thinking with the RV it would be easy in and out, and it would have been if a about 3 campers (not customers) were not park beside the LP gas pump making getting in and out to the pump difficult. Rate convenience a 3. What brings the rating back to a 4 was the employees. They were friendly and very helpful and courteous. They were a 5.

Warranty department was a joke and the technicians did more damage than repairs causing much out of pocket expense and problems. They were not qualified to even tie their shoes. Their lack of knowledge and experience is shown in their quality of work and level of service as well as the damage they created to our rv in their sloppy and faulty repairs. The actual camping world has proven to be nothing but one lie after another and pure deception from the start on the sales lot. When you try to communicate they don’t return calls they lie and they won’t even give options to use the warranty. Buyers beware of the complete lies they will tell to sell pure trash rvs and add useless additions and useless warranties that they represent with false information to make even more money from you. Buyers beware!!!!! Also beware a bumper to bumper warranty that they push for $8000 isn’t worth the paper they print it on. It in fact is not a bumper to bumper warranty but a simple extended mechanical warranty. All pure lies and crooked sales department!

We went in late on Saturday but got approval by Monday afternoon and we were able to sign and pick it up that week. Since then any minor issues we have had, he has been quick to respond and provide an answer! Our finance guy, Joey was also great to work with! He was personable and made sure we were getting the best offers! Camping World of Statesville will make sure you find the RV that fits you and provide you with a welcoming place always!
