I had been looking for a “non-dealership” group that I can trust similar to how I have trusted “The foreign Service” guys for my Mercedes for 15 years now. I rarely respond to a direct mail postcard ad but I did because they were a neighborhood close by shop on Boykin. A couple of weeks ago I had my son take his Volkswagen SUV in for a general service. Fair price. In-N-Out quick. I just took my daughter‘s Audi SUV and had the exact same experience. My decade old Audi AA is coming up for a major service and there is no question I will be taking it to them versus an Audi dealership. Solid guys and they did not “find problems” that needed to be conveniently fixed. The main thing I look for early on and a trustworthy mechanic. Give them a shot. They just earned my third one.

Did my diagnostic for low tire pressure for no charge, but took ~four hours with an appointment and quoted $55 to patch a potential flat. Not great--but more importantly, Mark, who manned customer service for me, was offputting to deal with. He was curt, not welcoming or friendly, and pretty unhelpful--he ended calls abruptly, mumbled, and got frustrated at me explaining my desire for a tire diagnostic when I came in. Interactions with him were an uphill battle and like him interfacing with customers was an inconvenience instead of his job. He's a feature of many recent low star reviews--owner should check up on him. Between the reception, pricing, wait time and other similar reviews, decent treatment by these guys seems exclusive to personal friends or chance--I'd encourage you go anywhere else first.
