  This should explain alot about them. Look how much they are willing to buy one VS. selling the exact one but in fair condition. Not to mention they refuse to negotiate on the selling price. I have more to say but this will suffice. Giving 2 stars because Stephanie is a good sales person and is not at fault for the inflated corporate pricing.

  We had the pleasure of working with Stephanie she was amazing helping us pick a destination camper to live in while we build a home she showed us many options answered all of our questions very knowledgeable and sweet and she continues to check on us today if you’re looking for a new camper or RV, ask for Stephanie

  Was mislead when I sold my camper. Was told I would get a check that day Dec 6th and when it was all done they said I would receive it in the mail. I have called 3 different days to be told that Shannon i believe is her name will call me back as soon as she is done with her client and have yet to hear back from them and still no check as they have my camper and title to it. Hopes Mills location is not the one to go to. I have contacted corporate office

  Notice how they only respond to the good reviews on google…From start to finish I was completely mislead on my purchase of a BRAND NEW travel trailer. I even had to call corporate just to get someone from the Hope Mills location to respond to me. I’ve had nothing but issues in the 3 months I’ve had it. Electrical panel issues, burning smell from the electrical fireplace, closet doors completely fallen off to the point I can’t use them, wooden beams coming off the closet with nails sticking out, shower leaking because it was never caulked, pipes in the bathroom constantly leaking, cabinet doors were ripped off when I got it, the list goes on. I was also told my washer dryer combo would be free and that was somehow snuck into my contract with a fee of $2,500. I’m not sure who would ever pay that much for a miniature washer and dryer. On top of being told I’d get a $500 gift card to cover the starter kit (that they charge 1k for) and then given $300 for it which didn’t cover it at all. They offered to purchase it back for 20k less than I purchased and 7k than its current appraisal value. I have left a message with the regional manager and have heard nothing. No manager there takes responsibility for their salesman and what they promise at the time of sale. I’ve never had this bad of an experience with any company I’ve ever dealt with. If you read Facebook reviews on this specific location it is a nightmare. This place is a complete scam and being in sales myself I would NEVER treat our customers the way I’ve been treated. I’m in the process of selling it to another place while taking a major hit. I am completely disgusted on how a major company like camping world does business. I have no clue how half of their process is even legal, down to their sketchy financing team. I have heard horror stories after purchase on how your brand new camper is actually used. I will never recommend camping world to anyone. I am currently working with a dealer over an hour away to avoid having to speak to any person at camping world. They have asked me not to give it to camping world to fix prior because they’d rather them never touch it again due to their history of keeping campers for months that come back in worse shape. From sales, service, to managers, to financing, every employee has been rude, not helpful, and treats their customers who spend a lot of money like nothing after you purchase.
