At Carolina Transmissions & Brakes, we offer complete service for all your transmission needs. We sell parts, install, repair and adjust transmissions of every type.
I had my transmission replaced in my 2008 Chevrolet Silverado at 134,000 miles I’m currently at 146,000 miles, I have had Carolina transmission rebuild my transmission 4 times and it has gone out once again. The last time they rebuilt it they put a new (tcm) transmission control module and that was supposed what was going on the whole time. Nope lasted for about 7 months.

I cannot rave enough about our experience with Carolina transmissions! We were traveling up from Florida, pulling our 26-foot camper, to stay at Black Rock Mountain State Park and just as we made it to the top of the mountain, our transmission gage started to warm up. Turns out we had been leaking fluid the last 1/4 mile up the mountain. We were completely panicked and immediately worked with the wonderful park staff to find a tow company and reputable transmission shop. Everyone pointed us to Carolina Transmissions and we are so grateful that they did.
They had our beautiful red 2002 F-250 7.3 diesel diagnosed with a bad torque converter seal, replaced, and returned to us the next day! Right before Labor Day weekend. We could not believe how quickly and efficiently it went, and how well they treated us for an extremely fair price. They are a very busy shop and we were so grateful for them getting us in and out so that we could enjoy the rest of our camping trip in peace. We had no concerns driving the rest of the way home, and are safely back down in Florida, very thankful to the wonderful folks who made that happen.
Do not hesitate to give them a call for all of your vehicle needs!!

Had to have my Jeep Wranglers Transmission Rebuilt. $3700.00.
I got it back today so I've only put 30 miles on it but believe they did a Great Job.
They're Friendly and seem to care about their Job and what people say. I'll update this more in a Month or so.

During a camping trip in Robbinsville, NC I was having issues with my transmission on truck. I was told go to Carolina Transmission & Brakes, and I’m glad I made the one hour drive. They were able to diagnose my issues, give me advice, and even though they were backed up, they were willing to try and fit me in. I didn’t end up getting any work done but the advice they gave me got me home and I am so grateful. Carolina Transmission & Brakes is honest, very knowledge, and very friendly. If you’re in the area and have car issues, this should be the first place you call.
