My salesman, Ramon Santiago, spent 3 days showing me almost everything on the lot, more patience than I would have had with a customer like me, but he stayed the course with smiling. I finally found the perfect RV that met all my needs and closed on the deal ask for Ramon for the best service. 5 star rating

I stopped by Camping World as a first-time buyer just to explore my options, and I had a great experience! Ramon in sales was very professional, patient, and informative. Since I had no experience with campers, he took the time to walk me through the process and explain everything in detail. The whole team made the atmosphere welcoming and not pushy at all. I went in just to look, but I left excited and much more confident about what I want—especially the camper with the fireplace that I fell in love with! Thanks, Ramon and the team, for such a great first-time experience!

Worst experience of my life. At least some of the people here are good. The bad just unfortunately far outweighs the good. Harsh was a new salesperson and was great. The front desk ladies were great but the manager and those in finance other than the one who finally assisted were horrible. I have heard they are way overworked and I feel terrible for that but they talked to me horribly and were very pushy when I was asking follow up questions about the financing. I told the man who asked me why I chose to go with another rv store that I had never been made to feel this way when asking a f/u question about financing. The guy said “do you not have the money for the down payment?” —- I spent more money down with a different company bc of how he spoke with me and the experience I had in person with the manager. I get car and rv sales are similar and pushy but these people need to learn that sales is not all about making people feel pushed into a corner. I’ve heard later that their overall customer service and servicing dept is not good so I’m glad I went elsewhere but fix how you talk to people. No one should be made to feel absurd for asking f/u questions when they are financing a $20k + loan. I had a better experience purchasing a home than this. Thank you Aiden for eventually refunding my $500 (what I was told was a refundable deposit) yet I had to call and work over weeks to get back but I do truly appreciate you. I hope you are treated well and/or find a better place to work.

I will start upfront by saying that in the end, we like the used Winnebago Porto we bought... but it was quite a rough ride throughout the buying process. The people working there are nice and some are really trying hard for doing good service. However, I think there is a enterprise culture at Camping World that creates unnecessary blockers. The company operates in vertically isolated silos with department not communicating well from one others (e.g. sell to finance to repair, etc.). Also, the first time we were delivered the vehicle after the contract was completed, it had many problems and works that were supposedly been done and that were not. Other problems was related to things that we were told during the sale that were all fine but were not (such as the tires that were at their lifetime limit). Thankfully for us, it's our 6th RV/trailer unit, so we were able to quickly see these through. We got everything fixed in the end (as I said before) but not after we called and left 3 thousand voice mails. I would caution someone to buy a used vehicle from this shop if you are a first time RVer. One advise: don't accept the default $1200 "expert tour" of your purchased vehicle... unless they promised to spend at least 4-5 hours to explain all gadgets.

Camping World of Concord provided us with their worst service on multiple occasions. The most recent being when my fiance and I went in to look at campers on a Saturday, a week before intending to purchase with the understanding it may take some time. Corey was our sales person and that day we had a great experience with him. Right after I completed my credit application in his office, I was informed the RV we wanted was sold already. Corey had already left us to meet with someone else so we decided to leave. He let us know we can look on the website at any camping world and they can get a camper delivered in for us to look at if we were interested. We did some looking that week and Corey sent us one as well. We really liked the one he sent and he let us know we had to put a deposit down in order for it to be delivered. We agreed and paid the deposit on Tuesday and asked if it could be there by Monday for us to look at it and Corey said he would make sure it would be and let us know otherwise. By Thursday I hadn’t heard anything. I reached out to receive the purchase order and other credit application information and they claimed they couldn’t find my application and once they did, they realized it hadn’t even been sent to any banks. I asked if the RV was on its way and they said it couldn’t even be brought in until I received approval. This “policy” was new to us as Corey did not disclose this. I hadn’t spoken to Corey since Tuesday and had been in contact with several different people - none of which knew our situation and had to get a run down of what was going on. I finally went back in on Monday - the day I took off work to look at the camper and spoke with Nate and Griffen. Griffen wanted to just give a bunch of excuses as to why the ball was dropped. Nate joined the conversation and immediately called for a driver to go pick up our RV as to which Griffen said “I prefer not to take something off another lot until we have approval” proving it wasn’t a policy, just a preference. A few days later I heard back from Nate because the driver was looking at the RV we wanted and said he didn’t want to bring it back to Concord due to its condition and that we would be paying a non refundable $2000 to bring it without guarantee of buying. We agreed with his advisement based on the pictures he had sent. I then received a text asking how we intended to cover his plane ticket back. At this point I decided that Concord was not interested in helping me purchase a camper but instead wanted to waste my time, money and energy. It has now been 20 days since I paid the deposit and 12 days since we declined the RV and we still have not received our deposit back. We went to Camping World of Statesville and got immediate service and purchased a camper within 48 hours of viewing. I just called in asking about my refund of which I was put on a 10 minute hold after being told nothing and providing no information such as my name only to leave a voicemail. After calling again asking to speak with someone he got the refund processed within 10 minutes, just needed the card information. Why couldn’t this conversation happened a week ago if it was that simple?? Do not waste your time or energy at Camping World of Concord.
