  I've rented hundreds of cars over the years, and dealing with burned-out, disengaged staff has become the norm. My experience with Budget in Kalispell was a complete revelation. I called multiple times before my trip with questions about weather conditions, my reserved vehicle, and the pickup/drop-off process. Every single person I spoke with was not just helpful, they were genuinely kind and went above and beyond to ensure I felt prepared and taken care of. This Budget location has earned my complete loyalty. I'll be recommending them to everyone I know, and I'll be back the next time I'm in the area.

  Complete fraud We had a 168$ rental charge that became double that. Then 1 week later they charged in excess of 513$ in claimed cleaning fees. We are working with executive escalations as they local privately owned(careful that they are) and they charged us 831$!!! They have a 450$ cleaning fee they charged over 513$ for it We took extensive photos and videos of the car on pickup and drop off, this was a total fraud and it was very clean. Do not use them

  Up until receiving the receipt after returning the car, the rental process was smooth. When we rented the car, I asked how many drivers were allowed with our rental. The person behind the counter told me up to three. She failed to mention, however, there would be a charge for adding drivers. Looking back on it, it may have been because I declined her assumptive sell of their insurance (being asked if I wanted "basic or advanced" protection). Having rented cars for over a decade through work, I know my personal car insurance covers any damages to rentals so it is just a ploy for the rental agency to pad their bottom line. Seems like shady business to fail to mention there would be additional charges in person when asked. When I contacted customer service, the best they would do would give me back 50% of the charge. Just know what you're signing up for before you sign anything. Shame on me for not reading through an entire contract when it was handed to me before I signed anything in the airport.

  Gave me a car with 100 miles of gas missing. I returned the car full tank but they did not give any sort of reimbursement or any type of apology instead treated as with a dismissive manner as if we as customer did sth wrong. For anyone picking up car from this location make sure you double check the tank before leaving the pick up location or more ideally dont rent from Budget

  Sat on the airport floor for two hours because they wouldn’t do anything to help us with our reservation. We booked through Priceline and were told to just get ahold of them. We both were present with our identification and multiple forms of payment. Every answer on Priceline’s end says they can change the information or help us. Both lost business in the end and we will be spreading the word. Two absolutely incompetent companies!!!! Neither did anything to help or compensate either.
