Extremely overpriced. $180 for an alignment. $90 to patch a tire. First time trying this shop and absolutely my last.

After researching and careful consideration of the power of suction nearest to the wad of cash clutched in my fist or the myriad of details I was to inevitably receive disguised as utter bs and to how much of it I would pretend to believe just to satisfy that thing called- justification effect, I decided to give these guys a go. Did I enjoy the experience? In the end, yes. Was it cheap? No. These guys are competent, at least with the repairs rendered, and it was yes, detailed, but most of these repairs I knew about beforehand. My research led me to believe that they are probably inline with other quality shops in Bozeman regarding expense. I know, Bozeman mechanics aren’t cheap. If you do find one to do it much cheaper do your dd and tread with caution. But I must say after all said and done, the finished product drives exceptionally and I am happy with the experience. These guys were kind and professional and devoid of any outlier add ons except one. Though the signage is evident throughout the shop, I still find it challenging to accept a 3% charge for use of a debit card as I would find no other safe way to pay other than armored van for the amount I extended. I understand a cc with the lending of money but not a debit card. In total I would go back if they would have me happily knowing that I am actually in pretty good hands. Cheers.

Brought my vehicle for a full inspection after recently purchasing. Mind you, the vehicle has no current issues or lights that appear and drives completely fine. I have the paperwork showing Spark Plugs were replaced by the dealership 20k miles ago. For some reason, they not only said they were old and needed to be replaced, but that a spark plug replacement would cost $1,100.... It is a 2006 Mazda. Even on the high side of calling around town, the most I was quoted was $500 to $600. I was given 2 different laundry lists of repairs with different recommendations. The suggestions sent by text say I need my exhaust replaced, while the repairs they handed to me, dont even mention it. While there were 2 plausible recommendations for what needed to be replaced based on age. The other 12, "urgent fixes," overshadowed the only credible recommendations. In total, I was quoted for $4,500 worth of repairs that EVEN if they did need to be done. The quotes from around town are 1300-2000 for everything they recommended. It feels like I had $300 dollars stolen since it was not trustworthy information, and I now have to go pay for another diagnostic to see if I even need the 2 repairs that seem credible. By the way, the going rate for a diagnostic is 70 to 200. Save your money and go somewhere else.

"Over-priced, poor communicators and are more than willing to learn how to fix something on your dime. They often tell you about your astronomically high bill after they've done the work." I am copying this from another review because it sums up my experience exactly. They took over a week to recharge my AC. Never called with a diagnostic. No communication and charged $500. After a week of being carless I let them know I needed it back BEFORE Friday as I was driving to a wedding. They called me at closing Thursday to let me know it was done. I couldn't pick it up because even if I lived next door it wouldn't have given me enough time to get there before closing.

The folks at Auto Stop, especially Dan and Kevin, went above and beyond to help us when our car broke down before a big family event. They not only agreed to take our car, but when they figured out it was covered by warranty they helped us get our car into the dealership for service. They kept us informed throughout and saved the day!
