- CFChuck FyfeDec 29, 20253.0We just purchased a used travel trailer from Camping World. We found the trailer we wanted and at a price that was fair. When I went in to sign the paperwork, I thought I was prepared for any sales pressure they could throw at me. I was wrong. These guys are good. Without going into too much detail, I would like to give some tips that could save you a lot of money 1) Don’t focus on the amount of the monthly payments, but rather on the amount you are financing and the number of months of the loan. 2) Be extra careful when they try to upsell the “Let’s go Camping Package” and the “Extended Service Agreement”. They are not the same thing and combined it will cost around $6000.00. Also, be prepared to be kept in the sales office for hours longer than needed so they can wear you down and make you just want to sign papers to get out of there. That being said, the service guy was great. He was very thorough and answered all our questions.
- BBBenjaminDec 22, 20255.0What a great store and employees!! After strong winds broke a roof vent, I went to Camping World. JC in parts was super helpful in getting me the correct cover. I didnt realize Camping World even had such an extensive retail area fully stocked with everything needed to repair and maintain campers and rvs. Anyone who has a camper or RV should take the time to just go out there and browse the aisles so you will know where to go when the time comes to repair or maintain your camper. Truly impressive. The staff from the receptionists to the service department to the salesman I met Devin were helpful and friendly.

Husband trying to get ahold of financing multiple times and each time they keep saying that the finance guy will call him back and nothing happens. They then asked to be emailed. He did get some response via email but just that he would look at the contract and call. Nothing. They were asked repeatedly to not include a service contract or gap coverage in the contract and lo and behold, claimed to have found us a better financing deal and wrote a new contract and included a service contract and gap coverage, adding an additional over $5,000 to our amount financed. We want a refund for these items that were specifically asked to be excluded.
