IF YOU JUST LISTEN TO THE QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS , ALL WHOM HAVE DRIVEN MANY YEARS INTO A CAREER OF TRACTOR TRAILER DRIVING; OBEYING DOT RULES AND REGULATIONS *** THEY*** CAN TEACH YOU HOW TO OPERATE A COMBINATION VEHICLE; TEACH YOU THE GENERAL KNOWLEDGE ABOUT IT; TEACH HOW AIR BRAKES FUNCTION WITH HOW TO LEARN HOW USE THEM; AND ALL ABOUT SAFELY OPERATING A ** COMBINATION VEHICLE ( TRACTOR/ TRAILER ) HOW TO TURN, BACK UP, OFFSET FORWARDS AND BACKWARDS FOR PARKING and managing the space on the road driving. **** If **** JUST YOU LISTEN AND LEARN WHAT THEY ARE TEACHING!!! THEIR EQUIPMENT IS SUFFICE. SAFE ARE THE * ROAD TRUCKS* ( WHICH YOU WILL DRIVE ON. HIGHWAYS, INTERSTATE and side roads: pull onto highways, merge onto interstate traffic, drive city roads with traffic and traffic lights) The range trucks look rough but they are NOT for road use. Perfect for the range in learning straight line backing, obstacle courses with cones (which serve as if concrete walls which may be at a customer's property or other commercial big trucks that deliver freight. All in All .. between book knowledge and hands on driving, backing everything you will face out in the real world driving a truck. ** Remember you are the student. Listen and learn. If distractions or delays happen which we all know that happens in the real world!!!! Just use your time going over written material you've studied or do a pre-trip on at least six trucks available anytime to sit in the cab or lift the hood and practice on what you will be tested on**.
