- TPTimothy PlumleeNov 14, 20252.0We purchased our new Campsite Ultra on July 19, 2025 in Strafford, MO. We absolutely love our camper however we've had issues. One of our slide out motors went bad the day before Labor Day. I called and got to talk to a technician (Tim Parnell) who was wonderful and and instructed me on how to deal with my issue so I could still use my camper for that weekend. He told me he would get the part on order and it would be 2 -3 weeks before they would have it in. Finally on Oct 25th I dropped the camper off for repair knowing they still had not recieved the part. They give me stories about parts could be there but may have not been checked into inventory. I talked to Brian several times about the repair and got the same story about parts not being checked in and told me he would call me in the next day or two without actually following through. Finally I stopped in on November 12th and Brian was off but got to talk to Matt. My wife conveyed her dismay to Matt the service manager and he was all to ready to give her the number to his boss like he did not want to here her out. After a few minutes he did some checking and said he did believe the part was in and that Tim would be working on it tomorrow and also stated he would be calling me tomorrow. He explained the turmoil they were experiencing with companies being sold and changing hands and having issues getting corect parts in. I explained my major concern was lack of communication and that when somebody tells me they are going to call they should follow up. He said he would fix that and he would personally call me tomorrow. I still have yet to recieve a call. Some areas of the service deptment seem to shine but the management side seems to lack in following through.

Unanswered messages, unreturned calls and emails, and even being ignored with requests to talk to a supervisor. Would not recommend this location... If I could give less than 1 star I would!

I live in Oregon and had my eye on a Raptor 441 and the Camping World of Strafford MO had exactly what I wanted on their lot. So far KJ, Paul and really the whole team there has treated me so well. Easy to work with, prompt communication and fair pricing on not only the RV itself, but any add on items we wanted. We are excited to pick up our RV next week and would recommend anyone to this Camping World.

Our visit today reminded me why I truly HATE CW. Was cursed at (for pulling into the parking lot!) and generally ignored. This is tropical of other locations that have refused to service our motorhome, refused to provide quotes for tires, purposefully left lights on to deplete my batteries, and generally just been rude. I will NOT renew my 'Good Sam Membership' and have already sourced other organizations for roadside assistance. Sorry, Mr. Lemons- glad you won your legal battle over the flag, heartbroken that your people are destroying what SHOULD be a great organization.
