A few months back I went into the Poplar Bluff, MO location to have my car serviced. The work was done fine but one of the employees felt it was okay to say VERY inappropriate things to me. I felt uncomfortable and was having to find my way out of this situation, because if you don't know, they save your address on file. So that made me even more uncomfortable. Luckily, the address they had under my name was wrong! I am one to speak up and say something but this time I honestly felt I couldn't. I just had to get myself out of that place safely. I called my husband and he went up to that location to tell the manager what had happened. The manager immediately sent the worker home, called corporate and got the investigation started. I am very thankful to Dana for taking it very seriously and acting so fast! He is the only reason we will continue to use Charlie's fast lube. The man that called me from corporate, I don't remember his name but wish I did, asked me what happened, what was said, and where everything was said because they have cameras. At that point I felt relief because they would see exactly what happened. However, this man proceeded to say, "I really have a hard time believing this guy would do that. Of all the people there, he is the last one we would expect this from because he is in the military." At that point, I was crushed. I honestly thought it was going to be pushed aside and not taken seriously. I was worried for all woman's safety, not just mine. I have contacted the manager at the location and was informed the employee was fired. I am so thankful there was audio and video recordings of this otherwise this employee could have gotten away with it just because he is in the military. Thank you so much Dana for being an amazing person and being the hero!
