  I ordered a complete replacement for my back windshield on Tuesday, Nov. 18. For context, my back window was vandalized and smashed in. The technician did a good job with the glass itself and performed the service fairly quickly. That being said, I am incredibly disappointed with the clean-up effort of the tech. He left large fragments of glass all over my garage floor. Large enough to hurt someone’s foot or puncture a tire. I found glass all over the inside of my trunk, which was Not there prior to the service. I also found large chunks of glass in the seams between the trunk and the back windshield, as well as in my back seats. I had previously vacuumed my back seats prior to the technician arriving. Due to the precarious nature of the original damage, I can understand some smaller fragments being missed, but quarter sized chunks of glass is unacceptable, especially for the price I paid for the replacement.

  Service was great, but was charged for wipers that I specifically said not to install since the wipers were new. A refund is supposed to be applied. I can't get passed the phone prompts nor a live person. It's been almost a month! Very unhappy about this. I don't think that I should have to drive to the store to speak to someone. Poor customer service. 3 stars only because the national company doesn't provide customer service. The local branch was fine except for the over charge

  Very easy to make an appointment on the website and they took care of processing the claim with my insurance. They did a great job fixing my windshield also!

  2014 Silverado Truck Windshield needed replaced. It was so easy to schedule safelite on my phone. They gave me a call when they were on the way, then showed up right on time. The tech was a really cool guy that talked to me and he knew his stuff. Very friendly. The job took less time than expected and everything went super smooth. Here are a couple pictures

  Avoid Safelite — Poor Quality Glass and Zero Accountability I had my windshield replaced with their aftermarket glass, and within two days it developed a long stress crack from pressure — with no impact chip anywhere. It’s clearly a product or installation issue, yet their rep immediately tried to blame it on a “chip” that doesn’t exist. I know what I saw — the glass was flawless when installed and cracked on its own. The worst part? They make it nearly impossible to reach anyone who cares. I was on hold forever, only to get brushed off by customer service and told there’s nothing they can do. For a national company that promotes “guaranteed service,” this is beyond disappointing. Safelite clearly prioritizes profit over quality or integrity — pushing cheap aftermarket glass and refusing to stand behind their work. I’m now left with a cracked windshield and no accountability from the company that caused it. If you value your time, money, or sanity — avoid Safelite AutoGlass at all costs. Please also don't send a response saying sorry we let you down. Fix the issue and attend to your customer's needs.
