Called on Friday to get a rental from hitting a deer the night before. Reservation was set up by my insurance company. Hade to call five or six times to get ahold of someone. I was informed that they would not have anything available until afternoon on Monday.
Received a call from Reid at 1130 say that he would have a suv back right at noon and could we make it closer to 1:00pm. I told him I can’t make it in until 2:30-3. He said they would have more by then. I said perfect and would see him then.
Go to the location at 2:40. Reid had another customer and asked me to wait. We sat for about 20 minutes and watch him rent the suv to the other customer. I asked him about it and Reid’s response was that the individual had a reservation before mine. Funny thing is that while waiting, we over head the guy talk about how he just hit a deer the day before on Sunday and that’s why he needed the rental. They had no other vehicles available and he should have something later that day.
I asked for a supervisor number or information, Reid informed that he did not have his supervisor information. I then asked him for his business card and my wife asked if we could pick something up tomorrow. Reid then felt the need to inform me that I can leave his office and he would not be renting me any vehicle ever while shutting the door in my face. He told me repeatedly that he had made a mistake and it’s not his fault in the same sentence. He blatantly lied to my face about the reservation from the other individual.
Over all horrible customer service. I am willing to say that I was very corse and irritated as I spoke with Reid. Never lost my temper or raised my voice. I informed him that I was very pissed off and not happy at all with any of the situation that he had created.
