We would have bought the vehicle. This is very poor business practice and poor customer service. They should be transparent if there is a pending sale and we would have under stood. The buyer test drove it the day before. That car should not have been available until we had decided not to buy. A deposit should only be accepted if no customer is in a buying process with the vehicle. We went to 4 other dealerships and no other dealership managed their sales this way!!! All gave us right of refusal prior to allowing another sales transaction on any car we test drove. Shame on you Kline Volvo. This is what gives car dealerships a bad name!! You can bet I have and will continue to share this story. Not even an apology from the manager.

I called into the dealership and explained the situation and their service department said if I brought it in the repair would take about an hour but I might have to wait a couple hours to fit me in. I agreed to that and drove in to the dealer. When I got here I was told by Scott at the service desk that they couldn’t guarantee they could fit me in today and it might be until tomorrow or next week. I was also quoted $330 for the battery and $70 to replace it but upon arrival they said it was a $270 diagnostic fee on top of that as well. I’ve bought multiple cars here and always raved about how amazing it was here so very sad to be in a pinch and get the run around and extra costs added on. Super disappointing experience.
