I bought a rv 1 year ago Nov. and there were issues with the bathroom fixtures on walk thru they stored it all winter and had time to fix it but did not. Not only did they deliver it unfixed but they did not fill the propane tanks when they did it. I brought in the tanks to have them filled manually. They said they would fix it but never ordered parts... Then said that they hired someone to come out and do the work but they would not take my calls after leaving multiple messages. I worked with my sales rep who never did anything. After 1 year... I finally got a corporate person to say there going to mail me the parts to put in the bathroom my self. I will believe it when the parts show up.

Unbelievably slow and unorganized. Promises were made they didnt hold up to. AN appt had been set up 3 months out so Camping World could order the parts needed to fix my new camper only to be told a month after the camper in their possession that the part had just been ordered. Every call made asking about the camper, (purchased new from them) I ordered for me specifically from the factory and waited months to get because I wanted and paid extra for the auto leveler and extra air conditioner. Only to go to pick it up and find out the auto leveler didn't work and they put in an after market ac. Sadder part is....Im not sure there is a better option to purchase a campe elswhere. Do better guys🥲

Unbelievable I dropped my camper off on a Friday they said it would take around 2 hours to do. But if they couldn't get to it that day it would get done Saturday. I said ok no problem. Well Friday comes and goes Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Finally at around 4pm on Wednesday. I call and ask what is going on with my camper? I proceeded to say it was only a 2 hour job. Well I got every excuse from Friday the guy called in Saturday the equipment that brings the campers into the garage froze up Monday the guy called in again and Tuesday they didn't have time to do it that they will get to it tomorrow. Finally on Wednesday they gave me a call around 1pm saying it was done. When I went into there today to pick it up I asked to talk to the person in charge of the place. So they got a gentleman named Jamie that is the store manager there and he told me that even a 2-hour job can take 5 to 7 business days to complete and I pretty much should be happy with that. I then told him why would a 2-hour job take 5 to 7 business days to complete and if that's the case then how do you have a business running if it takes that long. I did not get nowhere with him at all. I think this is unacceptable and unbelievable. I will never repeat never bring my business back there again I did ask for the district manager's phone number. He gave me a card with that store's phone number on it and a email address. I will be emailing him because I am very unsatisfied with experience I had.

Called & asked if they buy rv's straight out, Hailey said absolutely. Drove 2 hrs to get there & was offered $1000. What an insult. It's no wonder they have bad reviews. I'll never deal with Camping World.

Wish I would have read some of the many 1 star reviews for Camping World, because now I'm adding mine to the substantial pile. Incompetence doesn't even begin to describe every aspect of every encounter I had with employees at this dealership. Some of them are genuinely nice young kids, but it's obvious they've never had any customer service experience or training. And then there's Blake the finance guy - almost worth going in just to meet him - a dinosaur with decades of used car sales experience. He's memorized his talking points, knows how to sell an extended warranty, and even does a damn fine impression of the car salesman in the original Fargo movie selling the "clear coat." Hollywood should come looking for him. The dealership charges almost $1500 for a "thorough walkthrough and inspection" completed by kids that can't tell the difference between a hot glue gun and an arc welder. If you're trading in your camper, just throw your keys away, because that's what they'll do when it goes through clean-up. They don't care, because as the one guy told me, ". . . yeah, we give you new keys because these campers only have two styles of keys." And that works, until there's a camper that rolls in with a different kind of lock that they don't have a key for. I spent 4 months trying to get them to find keys or new locks for the outside storage compartments on the camper we bought, with no luck. Finally I just brought the locks to a locksmith and paid to have keys made - best decision ever. When I had a trailer wiring problem, I had to diagnose the problem and show them where the problem was in order for them to fix it. I read that the great Lee Iacocca had the original idea for an RV superstore that morphed into Camping World. Wonder what he'd think about it now. I feel sorry for all of the employees working there, collecting checks, dancing on the deck of the Titanic. Because surely as the sun will rise tomorrow, Camping World will enter bankruptcy soon.
