There is a guy working there who insists on calling customers by their first name after an ID check, and it is highly unprofessional, quite disrespectful, greatly unappreciated, and he didn't even ask me if I had rewards so I ended up paying more for things that I could have gotten with my rewards. Please retrain him or fire him one or the other.

Hello my name is Stacy I go into this location quite often. And I have to say the morning staff they are just delightful the kitchen staff are always helpful when I have questions about the food and don’t brush me off the explain details. The cashier that is there in the mornings she is so cheerful and bright she is always greeting everyone that walks through the door and that is awesome in my book she is very helpful she is the one that convinced me to get rewards it is kind of funny because I believe her words were I’m going to keep asking until you get the rewards and I have to say she did not disappoint at all so thank you sadaha I hope that is her correct name. Anyhow I really enjoy going in the morning to see smiling faces …now to explain my one star is because the management is out line she is rude and does not speak nor does she have a friendly face we ask questions and she brushes us off and it’s rude she does not need to have that job if she does not want to interact with customers as well as I stood there for a minute while she was right here behind the counter and she did not ring me up she instead waited until the other employee that was cleaning the counters come over and ring me up I think it’s rude and there is one more employee that don’t need to be there if she is going to be rude as well sorry for the long length of review but I want this to be resolved please I love this store I stay in the area and would love to keep my business here but I feel like management needs to change thank you very much

I love the morning crew they're so inviting, every time I come for the afternoon/ night seems they really don't care for us customers. I been coming here almost the whole time they been open, I know they slowly are hiring but good grief hire people who are actually people.

To whom it may concern, On Tuesday, July 29th at approximately 7:40 p.m., I had a concerning interaction with an employee at the Kum & Go located on Plainfield Ave. in Grand Rapids, MI. I am submitting this report in the hope that appropriate follow-up will be taken. When I arrived, I found the front doors locked with a sign indicating the store was closed for a bathroom break. However, several customers were inside, and an employee was actively working the counter. Confused, I waited until a customer exited the front door and attempted to ask whether the break had ended or was about to begin. The employee abruptly shouted “no” and closed the door without explanation. When another customer exited through the side door, I entered and calmly asked for clarification, also trying to understand the reason for the initial reaction. The employee responded angrily, saying she needed a break. I expressed understanding and encouraged her to take the break, then waited outside. Upon her return, I re-entered, selected my items, and approached the counter. I attempted to be sympathetic, saying something like, “I’m sorry you’re here alone; that must be difficult.” She responded, “It’s not difficult to be here alone—I just need you to be able to read.” When I expressed concern over the tone and confusion caused by the signage, she abruptly canceled my transaction and stated she would call the police for trespassing. I explained that I had not refused to leave, only sought clarification, but she called the police nonetheless. I believe this reaction was excessive and unwarranted. At no point was I threatening or uncooperative. I tried to de-escalate and be respectful despite the confusing situation. I would appreciate it if this incident could be reviewed by management. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Sincerely
