- MMMatt Marshall5 days ago5.0As I was driving northbound on I-75, approaching the exit where this Tuffy is located. At that moment, I lost all electric power to a vehicle a friend lent me. I rolled up and off the exit and Tuffy was the first driveway upon exiting the highway. I manged to slowly roll in there and asked for assistance. They quickly pulled my vehicle into one of their bays, assessed the situation and let me know the vehicle's alternator was bad and provided me the readouts from their equipment showing what they found. Naturally I did not want to drop many hundreds of dollars on a vehicle I was borrowing for a couple of hours, and upon conveying this to their technicians, they suggested I charge the battery back up and roll back to my friend's place and return the vehicle to my friend and let them know about the situation with their alternator. I thanked them for their help and asked how much I owed for their time diagnosing the problem, and they said ZERO! Total class act. Honest... they could've charged me for that assessment (heavens knows a dealership would've charged to diagnose a problem). Quick and friendly service!
