  We have gone through camping world Birch Run twice now. Once for our original camper, and once for an upgrade as our family grew. Both times we worked with Jade Kaplan and had an incredible experience. We got exactly what we wanted, and were able to work the pricing to fit our budget. She was realistic, understanding of budget and limitations, and we did not feel pressured to purchase anything. She was understanding of our crazy four kids with us, and camping works Birch Run has a play room for the kids to play in while you’re going through paperwork and discussions. Couldn’t recommend more, especially working with Jade.

  Purchased a camper. Sales term was friendly and nice. I was on my way up north on a hunting trip with some friends and thought I’d stop by and take gander (as I was in the market for a camper). I had already expressed interest in a particular model. Came in took a look. I said we will be in touch and things just rapidly progressed. I felt super pressured into making decisions, I felt coerced, and cornered and very passively pressured to make these decisions. I kept insisting I need to sleep on it and I will reconvene after my hunting trip. Well almost 2.5hrs later I’m signing papers. Following week I go to pick up the unit. I did what I thought was a thorough inspection. Mind you I don’t know much about campers. I purchased an “as-is” unit. I asked multiple times about leaks and and potential safety or money hazards. I was told “we make sure the unit is road safe”. So in my mind I’m like ok, there’s no leaks or hazards. When asked about suspicious spots in the camper the sales team would respond “well what do you think? We can’t disclose anything to you that is listed as-is”. They allowed me to run the propane and electrical but not water. The unit inside was pretty gross. I asked if they’re going to clean it and they responded “no, we don’t clean or detail as-is units” … wow ok…. But the price point was where I wanted it that worked for my family and I with the type of camper we were seeking. I ended up taking it home. I am trying to winterize it and then I get black water sewage leaking all into my driveway!!!! I’m talking raw chunks of human waste. The dealer, camping world didn’t even empty the black tank. They left me with a biohazardous camper with raw human waste leaking into my driveway, and a dirty contaminated interior. Couldn’t even the decency to detail the interior or empty the black tank. I understand what as-is means. With that said they were accommodating to an extent to rectify the situation when I called. I had to drive now 2.5 hrs back to them to clear the black tank. I said furthermore for my troubles you can winterize and detail the thing. They argued no because it’s as-is and they don’t have the personnel or money for that!! Furthermore it rained and the thing leaks. There’s an extremely hazardous soft spot that if my 40lb daughter walks on, she will fall through. I felt lied to, taken advantage of, mislead. I am very very disappointed. I knew what as-is meant. I wasn’t asking to replace the appliances or a new sofa, or anything. I wanted to make sure the thing was clear of leaks, hazards and was cleaned !! I now have to put a lot of plans the family and I had to use this and fix it when it warms. Funny thing is, if they were honest I wouldn’t have mind spending a little more for a unit that was not hazardous.
