Technicians left my car unlocked in their lot for hours, charged me for things I didn’t need (or want) and then didn’t inform me about the charges until it appeared on my bank statement. Customer care agent cut me off when I tried to share my experience and told me they couldn’t help me. When I asked to speak with a different customer care member, I was told “there isn’t anyone for you to speak with except me” It is nearly impossible to speak with a person at Augusta Safelite on the phone. Even Safelite Customer Service could not reach them via phone.

In my example, the rear window glass I was having repaired broke just as they were seating it in as they were wrapping up the job (as I told them at the time, they work with glass and that happens sometimes). They owned the issue immediately and set out to resolve by rescheduling due to not having a second piece in shop, then didn’t give a piddly $50 discount - they knocked off hundreds of dollars! Once the repair was finalized, I haven’t had any issues. Only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is for the minor inconvenience of having to go back, but they more than made good on it, in my opinion. Thanks, Tucker and Al!
