The next day I called to confirm it was okay if I was a couple hours late and they said it was fine and to just drop the keys in the box (had an extra errand I could have skipped if not). Returned the truck two hours and 10 minutes late. A week later my credit card was charged an extra $197 (3 hours x $45, plus a full day of insurance). Called to complain and they would not even round down the extra usage hours, even though the rental center had assured me twice that it was okay without mentioning any extra charges. $480 for a 26.2 hour rental.
