- MBmark bairdNov 1, 20251.0Beware. Actually negative stars. Do not rely on them for time sensitive events like for Maryland football games. They advertise that you can prepay and reserve a parking spot. You pay ahead by credit card, they have your phone number, email address and car license plate. When you get to the parking garage you find NO SPOTs available. They oversubscribe and essentially take your reservation and funds in advance to make sure they have optimal parking revenue. You call them at the number on your prepaid parking receipt to ask about using one of the "reserved" spots and they say you will likely get towed. The best they can do is offer ANOTHER one of their garages...I guess for you to hope that garage isn't oversubscribed. If they have other garages in the area that are available, and they took my cell phone number and email, why don't they email or call to direct me to that available lot knowing the garage I reserved in advance was unavailable? The company is called METROPOLIS, and am not familiar with them, but they have an interesting approach to business ethics and customer service. They mentioned they would refund my money after calling them. Evidently that takes 3 days to clear?
- CFC. F.Aug 27, 20251.0Worst parking experience of my entire life. There is no information posted about rules and regulations in the garage. just use the QR code. Can't pay with your phone for any reason and want to leave, you are locked in. You need to call someone to be "released" from parking prison. If your phone is discharged too bad, you need to find someone else to use their phone. If you left within a short period of time b/c you weren't able to pay, they charge you anyway. If you don't pay within 48 hrs, they assess a $53.25 late fee. If you dispute this, they charge you $14. All this so they don't have to have parking attendants because this would cut into profits. If you can find another parking garage to park!
