I had an absolutely terrible experience parking at Metropolis Parking (208 Water Street) and want to warn others before they make the same mistake. My car was broken into while parked here — and to make matters worse, there was zero accountability or remorse from anyone involved. When I walked around the garage after discovering the damage, I saw at least two other cars in the same condition — broken windows and obvious signs of theft. This seems to be a recurring issue, not an isolated incident. To add insult to injury, I later learned that Metropolis automatically closes your account if you don’t park for 96 hours straight — a ridiculous and inconvenient policy that punishes customers instead of protecting them. I spoke to the property manager, who was polite but completely clueless about how to handle the situation. He directed me to their customer support line, which was another nightmare. I reached a representative named Dominique, who was rude, unhelpful, and clearly had no idea how to proceed with my issue. They eventually referred the matter to a so-called “claims adjuster,” Sedgwick, who is impossible to reach — they don’t answer calls or emails and have a one-star rating on Google for a reason. The physical condition of the garage itself is horrifying — urine smell, blood stains, no functioning cameras, and an overall unsafe, neglected environment. To make things worse, the street right outside feels unsafe, especially at night. If you value your vehicle, safety, or sanity, avoid this place at all costs. It’s shocking that such a facility is still in operation under the Metropolis name. I’ve attached photos for anyone who still doubts how bad it is.

Absolutely horrible. I was locked in every night I'd park my car and try to exist from the doors. Every door is locked and the garage entrance is also shut. Over the span of 2 days, I had to wait for a car to enter or exist because that's the only way the garage door would open up. The instructions on their website are not clear and their customer service did not know how to answer any of my questions when I called. Never using again

Incorrectly charged me $105 for 2 days of parking! There’s no customer service phone number to call, only email. So I emailed them and they refused to offer me the refund for the amount they overcharged me despite the scanner reading my license plate and showing I had only parked there for 2 days! As you can see by my screenshot, their system literally shows I was only parked there for 2 days!
