Camping world of uxbridge is the most unfriendly, disorganized, incompetent, money hungry, DISASTER of an operation its genuinely impressive that they can even function. I would advise HIGHLY to not even entertain the idea of doing business with them. One star is too much for these people. I have never dealt with such awful communication in my entire life. My experience with camping world of uxbridge mass: We show up and immediately get sat in an office with a sales rep and lock down all the features we wanted in our camper and what we wanted to spend overall. The first trailer we are shown was very nice, it fit all of our criteria. However it was worlds apart on our budget. It turns out it was shown to us by accident! The next trailer we are shown is full of water. There was a leak on the bathroom ceiling. The next trailer we were shown was used, when we walked in we noticed one of the storage cabinet doors was dangling by a screw and was clearly broken, the camper also smelt like sewage as if it had never been pumped out! We get shown another trailer with damage to the outside as if it had been side swiped by another trailer. (This was the last one we looked at). We sit back down with our sales rep and start crunching numbers to try and make the first trailer we looked at by accident work for us. We ended up purchasing this one! We were informed to get the sales managers attention we would need to give him a card and a down payment before he will acknowledge us. Moving on to the finance department on the same day we sign all of the appropriate paperwork and get everything in motion. This finance department is an absolute disaster, nobody communicates. Nobody can answer basic questions. It took roughly 1 week and a ton of running around for the finance department to get us approved EVEN THOUGH they shook our hands and said congratulations to us for purchasing the camper. They kept needing more and more information that was never asked for during the initial meeting. A few days to a week later we are contacted and told we can come pick up the trailer. I asked them what size ball the trailer has to i can make sure i had the correct hitch to pick it up. Service doesn’t even look at it and tells me the wrong size ball, i then have to purchase one from their store and have them install it for me. It turns out there is still no plates on the trailer and that i can just tow it home with no plates because “people do it all the time”. The person that showed us how to use the camper was useless and has surface knowledge of how this thing even worked, could not answer a single question that wasn’t basic information. Service also lost the remote for our TV and we could not just use a universal because of the model. So they tell us they are ordering it and will let us know when it comes in. We decide to just tow the trailer home and take the risk of towing it without plates because we are burnt out with these people at this point. 2 weeks go by of radio silence, we contact them and they still have no plates and they got the wrong remote because they said they were going to give us a universal but that will not work LIKE THEY STATED INITIALLY. Another week goes by of silence. We again have to call because they will not! They tell me they need my card information to pay for the registration (it was already given to them). I give them my info 3 more times and it’s lost all three times over the course of another week!!! We hear nothing again so we call them AGAIN and theres was an issue with registering it and we were never contacted about it to fix the problem. we FINALLY got the plates and the trailer is now registered. I am happy to NEVER deal with this JOKE of a business EVER again! They are so incompetent it’s actually insane. Nobody knows whats going on at all times, nobody communicates anything, nothing is organized service is useless. All these people care about is getting your money and that is IT.

I want to give everyone a serious warning before you even consider stepping foot into Camper World in Uxbridge. Our experience has been nothing short of an absolute disaster from start to finish. We went in just to browse campers and sat down with our sales rep, Kiara. We explained our budget and exactly what we were looking for. The very first camper she brought us to was perfect except she immediately told us it was out of our price range. So why on earth show it to us in the first place? The next unit she showed us had a door literally hanging off the hinge, and when I opened the bathroom door, rainwater was leaking into it. She had no idea. Not a great sign. The third option was tiny, the bathroom was unusably small, and she kept trying to sell it to us despite us saying the bathroom was one of our biggest priorities. After that, things somehow got even worse. She didn’t know where any of the other campers were located and had us driving around the lot in the pouring rain. At one point she left us standing inside a camper that smelled like someone had used the toilet and never flushed. We stood there for 15 minutes while she wandered around trying to find more units. Completely unprofessional. Eventually, we went back inside and tried to work out numbers on the first camper the one she never should’ve shown us in the first place. We finally got to a price and she took it to the finance manager, who apparently “needed a card in front of him” just to even consider making a deal. Strange, but whatever. We gave the card, they charged it, congratulated us, and said they’d call to set up the closing. Great… or so we thought. Closing day came, and the tech who walked us through the camper knew absolutely nothing about it. They lost the remote for the TV. Then when I asked for the plate tax estimate, I was told “maybe $100–$200” but no one seemed certain despite the fact that there is no possible way we are the only Rhode Island residents to ever register a camper with them. They told us we could take it without plates because “people do it all the time.” When we went to hook it up, we found out they told us the wrong hitch ball size even though it was written clearly on the camper so we had to buy yet another one from them. Then came weeks of pure chaos. A week and a half went by without any update. I called, only to be told they were still “waiting on bank approval,” which was confusing because we had already been congratulated on the purchase. Another week later, no one had any idea what was going on. I had to request a callback, and that’s when I was told that because we purchased a pre-owned unit, the process “takes longer”something not a single person had mentioned to us at any point. Then I get a call saying the camper needed a VIN check and they had no clue if the unit was even still on their lot or if we took it home. How do you lose track of an entire camper? They did the VIN check and then… silence. Again. Another week passed before we called THEM (because they never call us), and suddenly they “didn’t have a card on file for taxes.” We had already given it to them twice. We gave it again. Ten minutes later? Another excuse. Not one person had communicated anything about a tax issue. A full week went by with zero updates. I handled that issue myself and again asked for an update. They said everything was all set and we’d have plates by the end of the week. And then shock they called again saying they STILL didn’t have a card number on file. The tax amount also somehow doubled from the estimate we were given. Where did the card info go the previous three times? After that, they again asked whether the camper was on the lot or with us because they had no idea where it was. At this point, it’s crystal clear: this is the most unorganized, unprofessional, incompetent company I have ever dealt with. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic organization is unbelievable. I would never recommend Camper World in Uxbridge to anyone. Ever.

This place will continuously lie to you. I needed a part, a recall and an inside future piece repaired. They gave me an appointment and I brought her in. I live in my rv for context and they were made aware of this. It took them three days before they even LOOKED at the rv. What was the appointment for ?! I was called a week later saying two out of three things were done. I show up. The recall was not done but I was told the furniture was. They said it would take an hour to do the recall. It took 1.5 hours. I get home and step inside. The inside furniture was never fixed. Now I’m waiting for the part they ordered to come in for the last item to be fixed. They said they’d call me. After a month I call back and they say oh it should be in by the end of next week. I call yesterday. THEY NEVER ORDERED THE PART. I’ve been waiting 6 weeks FOR NOTHING. I’m honestly not even convinced they fixed my recall. I will NEVER return here. All they do is lie.
