Go elsewhere, especially for service! Bought a used Subaru Forester here two weeks ago, 50k miles on it. Noticed some mild vibration/bumpiness during the test drive, was told it was likely the tires needed filling (the sensor did show one of the tires was a little low, and it seemed minor in any case). After purchase I brought it into Subaru to diagnose the vibration - they did their inspection and found the tires needed to be rebalanced and rotated, and the bushings on the front control arms needed to be replaced - about $1k worth of work. Subaru advised I bring it back to Kelly for service since I just bought the vehicle. I figured Kelly would want to do the right thing by their customers, so I called and explained the situation, and was told to bring it in with the estimate from Subaru. I waited about an hour for Kelly to do their own diagnosis, after which they told me the car was fine, there was no vibration (gas lighting much?), and they wouldn't cover any work on it. Obviously I wasn't satisfied with this after already having proof from Subaru that the car needed work, and being told by Kelly to bring the car in. So I waited around again for the service team to deliberate amongst themselves, until another team member pulled me aside and again, refused to do the work as it was deemed "not necessary." I stated that Subaru was able to verify and diagnose the issue, but since I literally Just purchased the vehicle I wanted to give Kelly the opportunity to do the right thing and fix the issue after they sold me a car that was supposedly in full working order. They offered to cover the tire balance and rotation, but still refused to do the bushings, saying they were "fine." So I waited around their showroom for another two hours for them to do the tires - which very clearly were not done, seeing as the sensor showed the same tire that was low before I brought it in was in the same spot, had not been rotated or even filled. I guarantee they just left the car and me to sit there for two hours before giving me the keys and sending me back on my way. I called later that day to thank them for wasting my time. Why bother having me come in at all if they weren't planning on doing anything? Maybe if I'd bought a brand new VW they might have treated me with a bit more respect. Everybody here seems like they hate their job and I guess I can't blame them. Just go elsewhere, these people are slimy.
I had a great experience with Kelly Volkwagen. As I was looking for a new car, a volkswagen wasn't at the top of my list, but after research and going by the dealership, I really loved the Volkswagen Tiguan! I felt the customer service representative whom we were working with (Brandon!) was knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I appreciated the test drive and him joining giving us the low down of everything the Tiguan had to offer. I didn't feel pressured to buy, and he answered all my questions so quickly. After I bought the car, I he continued to check in and make sure it was what I wanted and also answered more questions that came up as I got used to the car. Thankyou!

I just wanted to share with people my experience I had today. Me and my wife, Susan, came here today for an oil change. Not only was this the cleanest, nicest, most efficient dealership I have ever been to, ( I have literally lived everywhere between Detroit and here). But the the employees are the most polite and informative also. Upon completing my service, the gentleman advised me of other services my vehicle could use. Without being pushy, just showed me the price and gave me the advice. So I say this. If you want a new/used car or just need some service or advice on your car, come to Kelly's where they'll treat you like family. Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention the coffee bar man, OH MY GOD, the coffee bar!!!!!

As a first-time car buyer and a mom-to-be, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than the one I had at Kelly Volkswagen in Danvers. From start to finish, everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I felt confident and comfortable with my purchase.
A special thank you to Jimmy Ciampa, who made the entire process absolutely seamless. Jimmy was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every detail — never once making me feel rushed or pressured. He really listened to what I needed in a safe, reliable vehicle for my growing family and helped me find the perfect fit within my budget.
Buying a car for the first time can be overwhelming, but Jimmy and the Kelly Volkswagen team made it such a positive and exciting experience. I drove away not only with a great car but also with total peace of mind knowing I made the right choice.
I highly recommend Kelly Volkswagen in Danvers — especially if you’re a first-time buyer or expecting parent like me. Ask for Jimmy Ciampa — he’s the best!
