Just purchased a 2021 Chevy pickup from Arceneaux Ford. I got the pleasure to work with Rebecca on this vehicle and I can’t say enough good things about my experience working with her. I live in New York so it made things a bit more challenging. I asked for multiple photos and videos which were quickly sent. When we finally made a deal all paperwork including financing was easy. She even went as far to get me the name of a transport company to ship the vehicle directly to my home. Thank you Rebecca for all your hard work.

Bought my first truck last weekend, and Kade did a great job to make the best deal that would benefit me. Kade even came pick it up to get detailed, and then dropped it back off before I got off. Great experience.

We had a wonderful experience at Arceneaux Ford! Our salesman, Kade, was super helpful and worked hard to get us a great deal on both the car we were trading in and our new car! We ended up having to stay quite a while after the dealership closed and the whole team we worked with never got impatient but worked with us to get the sale done!

I called Arceneaux Ford about a blind sensor fault I was having intermittently on my right taillight in my 2018 Ford F-150. I could tell moisture, more than a normal amount but not accumulating, was on the inside, but only in the top portion. I also noted and told them the BLISS module compartment looked dry and the main harness from the truck to the taillight had no signs of water damage when I looked at it. I did not do any further inspection at that time. The lady on the phone asked for my VIN to look up my service plan that I had from some other recent problems with the truck. She found it and said I had ESP and she noted that was a good one to have. I told her I was told when I got that plan it would be only $100 out of pocket for repairs. At this price I figured I’d let them handle it. She said to bring it in. I brought it in early in the morning and I got the call later that afternoon that it would be $2000 to fix it and it wasn’t covered under my ESP. I told them do not do the repair. They said it would still be about $200 for the diagnosis with tax but that was never communicated to me prior. The dealership of my wife’s car has never charged for diagnosis so I wasn’t really expecting it. Anyway, their diagnosis, and all that was said on the paper, was to replace the taillight (with the expensive BLISS module). I asked the Service Manager to help me out since I felt pretty slighted that no one in the process told me that taillights weren’t included on my ESP even though at least the initial lady specifically looked at my plan knowing what the problem was that I explained to her. And no one told me ahead of time about the diagnostic fee either. The Service Manager seemed like a nice enough guy and we had a cordial conversation despite my frustration. He gave me about $25 off so I still paid $180 and they delivered the truck to my residence about 15 minutes away. The original lady I talked to on the phone could have told me taillights weren’t covered when she looked up my plan using my VIN. The guy at the service desk could have also told me as I told him I expected to pay the $100 and I don’t have a lot of money. Either the original lady or the guy at the service desk should have mentioned it would be $200 to even look at it. The real kicker…after I got my truck back I took off the light and took off the four screws holding the metal piece that the BLISS module attaches. I immediately saw the plug to the BLISS module was not fully seated and pushed all the way up. I examined it and the connection showed no sign of water damage. I connected that properly and I haven’t had a problem since. Not one fault module in several days now. Now the moisture in the top compartment can still lead to issues, so I have dried it out using a moisture absorber and now I will seal the edges of the light assembly with some silicone in hopes to prevent that. But even if that doesn’t work a brand new taillight assembly to replace mine (without the module since mine works just fine) is about $120. I am not certain the technician even took my taillight off. If so, they would have seen the plug was not properly connected. My guess is they read my diagnosis which was on the paper and saw the moisture and said just replace taillight. Be wary!
