  Horrible service department . Walker GMC has lost my business and all future business . Brought my vehicle in for warranty work , parts were on back order . No problem, I was told I would receive a call to set an appointment once the parts arrived . The service center never called . I called multiple times over the duration of 4 months checking the status of the parts . I was consistently told I would receive a call once the parts arrived . Now the vehicle is “out of warranty “ and they will not honor that it was brought in prior to expiring . Although , I did not purchase the vehicle at this dealership (as I am new to the area ) how your customers are treated / and how you conduct business morally goes along way . Instead of paying out of pocket for the repairs , I will have MY DEALERSHIP , just sell my truck at auction and get something newer than my 2024 GMC 3500hd AT4 that required multiple visits for warranty work. Something to be considered ; Prior to moving , I purchased 23 vehicles from the same dealership over a 5 year period. Each ranging in price between 100k-200k. Sorry for your loss ….

  I want to recognize two employees at Walker GMC who went well above what anyone could reasonably expect. While traveling to Dallas last week, my vehicle began having issues. The next morning, when I contacted Walker GMC, I accidentally reached the personal cell phone of salesman Todd Defee. Instead of brushing me off or redirecting me, Todd took ownership of the situation immediately. He was patient, asked detailed questions about the problem, personally spoke with a mechanic on my behalf, and then connected me with service advisor Cameron Hayes. Before I even had a chance to call Cameron, Todd followed up with me with the mechanic’s initial thoughts and Cameron’s direct contact information. At that point, Cameron was already calling me. He thoroughly went over my symptoms, talked through realistic next steps, and advised me, correctly, to try to have the vehicle repaired in Dallas since it was still under warranty. I followed that advice and contacted 12 GMC dealerships in Dallas and the surrounding area. Despite explaining that this was an emergency situation and that I was a single female stranded out of state, not one dealership was willing to help. Todd and Cameron, on the other hand, treated my situation with urgency, professionalism, and genuine care. They advocated for me when they didn’t have to, communicated clearly, and made sure I wasn’t left navigating a stressful situation alone. That level of service is rare. Both Todd Defee and Cameron Hayes absolutely deserve recognition for exemplary customer service and for representing Walker GMC with integrity.

  Went to the parts department for info and the staff was absolutely amazing. Greeted me as I walked in. Asked how they could be of assistance and quickly answered my questions and helped me find the information and part numbers I needed. The staff went above and beyond. Thank you so much.

  THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE EVER RECEIVED AT ANY AUTO BUSINESS !!! Not only was the service department totally inadequate but the receptionist was THE RUDEST PERSON. That whole department needs an audit !!!!!! I will drive out of town for future service !!!!!!!!

  Basic service is just like any other place gets the job done. However, I checked into getting a set of tires for my truck which I bought from Walker but no free tire rotation (why not for higher quality and better service). Also why not when service is done send your vehicle through a free wash job. Be more customer focused and improve your quality.
