After a few days of looking at multiple dealerships, I found this one. After contacting Featherston, I decided to go look at his inventory and glad I did!! I bought a 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage that I just love! He was very friendly, fast and professional. Not only will I be back, I would happily recommend this place to anyone! I put a deposit down on a car after the dealer promised it was in perfect condition, saying the only thing it would need was an oil change in 5,000 miles. I trusted his word and paid the deposit before I could inspect it, based on that claim. Once I had the car taken to a professional mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection, it came back with a transmission fault — something major and clearly not “perfect.” When I brought this up, the dealer refused to lower the price or return my deposit. It wasn’t just a transmission fault, the car had many defects. The salesman which in this case was the owner became extremely defensive about his being having mechanical imperfections and claimed “his mechanics” had already checked this car out and said it was good. The vehicle also had cracked fog lights, headlights extremely faded, pillars weren’t installed correctly after airbag deployment since the vehicle was in an accident. Owner also claimed the vehicles bad carfax was due to a police determination which IS NOT TRUE. At that point, it was obvious: this guy is not just dishonest — he’s a liar who will say anything to get your money and then hide behind a “non-refundable” excuse. It’s shady, manipulative, and exactly why people don’t trust used car dealers. Don’t fall for it.
