    I’m highly impressed by my experience at Currie Ford of Valpo. Brandon Manchak talked to us by phone and explained the process, and he was prepared for our meeting. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by very professional staff. I was nervous about bringing my two kids to buy a car, but they made me and my family feel welcome. Kentrel Williams helped me learn the bells and whistles of the new car (and he even had crayons and coloring stuff for the kids). They also had a selection of Ford Expeditions that was much better than other dealers in the area. Highly recommended!!

    I’m 5 hours away from home on a work trip and 5 hours from my destination. I have a critical battery meltdown in my fleet vehicle. Luckily I’m a mile from Currie Motors so I head there immediately. Brittney in service immediately takes me in, gets my information, and has a tech working on it within 15 mins. 2 hours later my repairs have been authorized by my fleet manager and I’m back on the road. Brittney made sure to keep me updated on what was going on and remarkably was able to get me back on the road in record time. I would e been stranded in Valparaiso if it wasn’t for the great staff at Ford Of Valpo. My company and myself can’t thank them enough. Outstanding dealership!!! Outstanding employees!!!

    While in the market for a new truck I checked the Currie Ford website. I communicated through the text messaging in regards to a vehicle I was interested in. I asked if the price listed would include the deductions and rebates, I was informed the rebates and savings were available. I arrived at the dealership and showed the salesman a photo of the vehicle I was interested in. The price with the deductions and rebates and the listed price were visible on the photo. I informed the salesman that I was interested in listed price of the vehicle, with that the salesman said we will see what he could do. After the typical throw a price out and go talk to whoever, he comes back with a price that was nowhere near the price on the internet. He tells me that’s the price, with $2000 down, with a payment of $1000 a month. This ploy went on for approximately 3 more times. After we had settling a price which was not close to the internet price. He asked if I had a trade in. I was not interested in trading in my vehicle but I figured why not. The trade in price he came back with was $2000 lower that I was given on the Currie website., he asked where I got that price I told him Currie website. Well he said the price he got was from KBB, I said they should put the KBB info on the website. At this point I was getting more and more frustrated so I asked for more on the trade in he did the walk around, and came back with a $1000 more. He also said the trade in supervisor from Ford was in the area so the couldn’t go any higher. After agreeing to the trade in it was a matter of financing, I was looking for the 0 % financing which I got. I completed the paperwork and got the truck. In the end the numbers were not what believed the deal was. I ended up paying 63000 with taxes etc. 13000 trade was taken off the sticker price and got approximately $3500, leaving me a little over $50000 financed. Sticker price was $63410. The internet price was a lot lower, and this was when Ford was offering all of the end of the year sales. I know I made mistakes but considering I would be dealing with a reputable dealer I thought they would not be so deceptive. Should have walked out and should have looked at the yelp reviews. Only good thing is that I won’t ever have to go back to Currie Ford and the I got a nice truck.

    Mike Hardel at Currie Ford in Valparaiso was absolutely fantastic to work with. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure we found the right vehicle—not just making a sale. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. We ended up with a Ford Escape and we’re still loving it—great drive, super comfortable, and exactly what we needed. If you’re looking for an honest, friendly, and professional salesperson, ask for Mike. Highly recommend

    I emailed about one of the used cars on their lot listed at 48999.00 and ask if they could discount the price to 47000.00. MSRP 45845.00, trade-in value of 42509.00 to 47,619.00 They promptly emailed me and asked me if I'd be available for a test drive. I replied and advised that I'm not local and would like to get an OTD. They replied and requested my driver's license, DOB, and county. I called and spoke to Julia and provided the information. She said she would send me an OTD. I didn't receive any that day. The next day I followed up. She replied that management would require me to sign off on the advertised price before sending me the OTD. So my thoughts are that the dealership is not very flexible with their pricing on used vehicles and they make you jump through hoops to get an OTD. It's more like carmax or carvana experience with fixed pricing.
