Terrible customer service. Bought a used 4 Runner on Saturday after walking away from the table Friday night. Won't get into details on that experience. Most upset about Monday when I took the vehicle to a mechanic for inspection and found out the power steering fluid was black and the accessory belt was visibly deteriorated. Sent the report to the salesperson, called the dealership multiple times and couldn't get anyone to call me back. 4 hrs later I get a call and they tell me they're not going to cover the $300 fix. I was told when I bought the car that they did a 161 point inspection and they took care of everything. They're full of deception and could care less about maintaining a good relationship with a customer over $300. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Slimy operation. I took my van there because it was having a Toyota-specific issue that needed attention. I told them to call me before they did any work because it’s an old van and I don’t have much money to put into it. They said it would be $189 just to diagnose it, which seemed high but I said ok. They proceeded to give me an astronomically expensive quote that was 3-4x times the total value of the van, so I quickly declined and went back to pick it up only to see they had charged me an extra 30 bucks on the invoice. I asked why and the guy said “taxes.” I said “there are additional taxes on a diagnostic fee?” And he said “uh… actually, those are miscellaneous charges.” I asked if he could give me an example of what those charges might include and he replied “it helps pay for oil rags and uniforms” LOL. Drove it home and the issue was noticeably worse than before I dropped it off.

Initial contact was well done. John Pate listened to my concerns. I agreed to an inspection fee, however most businesses waive this fee if the customer moves forward with the repairs. Mr Pate said that is not there policy. When I called Mr Pate at his extension I always get a reply by voice mail naming a different person? I made 6 calls to him and he picked up once. I am happy with the work done. I think Jeff Wylers policy not to accept personal checks for payment is wrong. Payment by ATM is fine unless there is a limit on the card. Payment by Credit Card costs a service fee of $15. I disagree with that policy.

Will never attempt to do business with again! This is the 2nd time in 5 years they have not had the vehicle I worked a deal out to come and get. The first time in 2020 they told me the vehicle I drove a hour and half to come and get was moved to their Florence,KY dealership. So I made that 4hr drive and it wasnt there!!!! Luckily I drove next door to Zimmer Dodge in Florence and found the exact vehicle a year newer with less miles for about the same price. Now today I drive an hour and a half again after working the deal over the phone with a sales rep. My payment was figured and we had an appointment for this specific vehicle. I arrive and get told the vehicle was sold! Uh....... yeah I know to me!! Nope, sorry we sold it just a little bit ago. After I had the deal made the vehicle should NOT have been able to be shown to anyone else. Pathetic dealership!!!! I do NOT recommend them to anyone, 5years later and still shady! 0 stars

I do not recommend this place. I have purchased the car on 10-19-25, still never got the titled. Called and voice-mail and still no response. Tyler Smith didn't disclose anything when I explicitly told him I only wanted the bare minimum. After adding on 8 grand worth of add on fees and services I explicitly told him I didn't need, when I got to a point where I could actually read the paperwork, there were more charges than I was expecting. I was in a wreck and needed a car to keep my job, I saw this place had a 2012 Toyota Camry for 11K. I told the rep that I was not willing to pay extra for this stuff but when it came time to do the paperwork, the charges were there. I called them up and emailed my sales rep and never heard back from him. I went into the store and asked to speak to the manager and explained that there's no way I could afford this car with all these add on due to medical expenses this would ruin me. The manager told me that I had no options and even if I canceled the extended warranty it wouldn't actually be reflective of my loan. I explained that I needed anything to help me out and he told me there wasn't anything he could do because I signed the paperwork. So unfortunately I'm stuck with a car payment worth twice as much as the value of the car and no way out according to the dealer.
