I had my Jetta serviced here. It took several weeks for my part to come in. Get used to it if you own a Volkswagen. Random stuff that does not break on any other car randomly breaks. Do not expect a recall. Do not expect a TSB. Do expect to "pay the German car tax" of at least $1500 once a year, even if you only drive 5000 miles a year or less like me. That is not the dealer's fault, but I think it is crazy to own a Volkswagen out of warranty.
I had my 2009 Jetta with a little over 80k miles towed to the dealer because my ignition cylinder failed. This is a known problem. No local mechanics would touch it. VW only wants to use VW parts and this part took almost 2 months to come in. I was told a few days and that stretched into...quite a bit more than a few days. I was getting a little agitated, but miscommunication happens.
I get a text from the mechanic saying my car has condensation as if there is a leak. My car has never leaked. It has survived 3 storms since I brought it home with not a sign of even a tiny spot of dampness. I figured a dealership would ensure my car was okay. Nope.
I picked up my car on September 12th, paid my bill, and a porter brought me my car. I was not allowed to inspect the car before paying. Well, my car reeked of mold, my Bluetooth was not working, and my gear selector looked glitched.
I called and was told someone would call me back. I sent two messages to their online portal and was told someone would call me back. I texted the mechanic. No responses to anything and it has been almost a month. The pictures I took looks like the right side of my car flooded. This destroyed my air filter I had in my car, caused mold, and apparently destroyed my Bluetooth module. None of this was noted on my invoice. I asked for a call back for explanation and I have yet to receive a response. The only conclusion I can draw is that the dealership allowed water damage to my car and then ignored me since I already paid.
I did wind up buying a new car and I am saving my VW for my daughter. This was a nightmare experience and is the second negative experience with this dealership's service department. I hope my post serves as a real, recent experience of the type of service you can expect from this dealership. The communication needs work, the costs are high like any dealership, and the after purchase experience is abysmal. Honest and patient paying customers run the risk of their cars being damaged and then get ghosted when asked for an explanation.

I’ve only dealt with this dealership twice since getting a Tiguan and will not go back despite them being the closest. I got my car repaired here once and left overnight and was supposed to get it back in the morning before going to work, and I made it very clear that I needed it back before 9 o’clock, which they said they could make happen and scheduled a shuttle. 845 the next morning comes and nobody has arrived to get me, I call and Gerardo answers and says he doesn’t know why anyone would promise such a thing and he will send someone out, they should arrive in 15 minutes. I call back in 10 minutes to confirm that they have left and he says they are leaving now. I find it so unprofessional that they lied and are inconsiderate of others livelihoods.
My second encounter was today, also with Gerardo. I ask him about recalls , because it had to do with alarms coming up with parking brake. He talks to me like I’m dumb then states no they’re are not any recalls. I asked him if this is covered under my extended warranty through Volkswagen and how long it would take to repair. He says it could take a couple of days because they have to have a third-party come out to do an inspection, which I question because I’ve already had a repair done with the extended warranty, and why would that be the case if the car is Volkswagen and the warranty is Volkswagen? So I call another Volkswagen dealer and they tell me that this is a lie.
Needless to say.. don’t trust this dealer. Terrible service. Won’t be returning.
