I had a great experience at this place! My salesman, Charlie, was very nice and made the overall process very easy! It was my first time buying a car and I could not have been happier with the experience. Would definitely tell everyone to ask for Charlie because he was very helpful and got me a great deal!

I purchased a 2025 Volkswagen Cross Sport from this location on 11/14/25 and have had nothing but problems with it ever since. On 11/15/25 the car began disconnection from my car. I had to reset everything and link it back to the app. It continued to have this problem so I contacted support. I was told that the car was still connected through their fleet system and they had to send out a request to disconnect from the Volkswagen location at Joliet. Since it was a Sunday 11/16/25, I was told to give it until Tuesday for it to work correctly. Monday 11/17/25, I was driving my son to school and all this alerts went off on the truck for the back and the rear. It stayed on until I turned off the car and then restarted it again. 11/18/25, Tuesday, the suv was supposed to be fixed of the connection issue and that wasn't the case. I connected the suv again including the regular setup that is needed once you get a new car. Such as putting in the VIN number and scanning the QR code so that it can be connected. It has been downhill ever since. The truck also has a gas mileage issue and doesn't read it accurately. It either doesn't move at all or drops downs severely when you drive less that one mile. Also the steering wheel stopped heating. The car system randomly disconnects from the car and you have to reconnect daily. I contacted the service department to make an appointment to bring the SUV. 11/29/25 on Saturday, I brought the SUV in. I stated all the issues to the associate. They kept the truck for about 4 hours. In the midst of that waiting period, I never received and update of what was occurring. (I also noticed while sitting there that all the men in the waiting room received and update, but the ladies did not. But that's an whole entire other issue of discrimination.) After I got up to go and check and see what was going on, I was told that they were almost done and was trying to address all the issues. Once they were finished, I was told that my steering wheel needed to be replaced and that they reset and updated the system in the car and it should be fine now. Of course, that wasn't the case. I drove from Joliet IL to Arlington Heights IL in a snow storm that took me 1h and 40 min to get to. During that time, the gas gauge never moved. It stayed at 295 miles for almost 2 hours. I called the repair service department immediately and spoke the same service I previously had. He told me that that was normal and that It just gives really good mileage. I stated that is inaccurate as I have rented this same SUV before in Florida and had NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS. He then stated if it keeps happening they would have to file a case with Volkswagen. I stated this is a reoccurring thing and can the claim be sent now. He said no, they would need to have the physical truck in their possession in order to do. Then, he told me to take pictures on the mileage and gas. Later that night, the SUV system disconnected from my phone again. NOTHING WAS RESOLVED. Mind you, in the midst of this the support department for the system put in a ticket and they told me it would take 21 days to be contacted about this issue and in order for it to be escalated, it would have to not work at all for 23 days straight. I've never heard of such a thing. Why would a 2025 have so many reoccurring issues with the electrical system? Why would the entire wheel need to be replaced on a 2025? The whole point of me getting a new SUV was to NOT have these problems. it has been nothing but an inconvenience since I got this truck and now it feel like it is nothing but a LEMON.
