My boyfriend and I took my 2018 Jeep grand Cherokee to get looked at do to a nose I was hearing in the front outside of my car. When we dropped off the car. The maintenance people were told to take my car apart, order the parts. It needs put it back together cause I still need my car for the weekend. Mind you I dropped my car off at 8am. I didn’t hear back on anything until about 12:30pm. When I did hear from them. To my shock they didn’t do anything we asked. They drove my car around ten buck too, and managed to tell me the nose I was hearing was a pool ball ball, and I perfume bottle under my driver seat.
I stated they did the same exact thing the last time we brought it in for a nose (turned out we needed an Engine replacement. That a pool ball ball doesn’t explain a Clunking nose I hear by my front tires. The Response I got was immediate, “ I don’t know what a pool ball sounds like”. They then told me they put in on a lift And had a few technicians Jimmy a few things around and found nothing wrong with it.
Fast-forward to yesterday where I took my car into Hancock in Geneseo. They had my car for maybe an hour and actually took my car apart to look at it. They found I needed New Engine mounds. Since I have Hydraulic engine mounds that could explain the clanking noise in the shake of my engine that Ford in geneseo also ignored. So this dealer ship is 100% the last place I’ll be taking my car.

This is specifically a review of the service department. A month ago (on the 19th of September 2025) we were driving from Michigan back home to Colorado. As soon as we passed the exit ramp for Exit 19 for Illinois 82 Genesea/Cambridge the driver's side rear tire went flat. I managed to pull over onto the shoulder of the on-ramp just past the exit, put the under inflated donut on, backed down the on-ramp with my hazards on, and limped the car to Ed Morse Ford's service dept. Although we were driving a Chevy Equinox (my mother's old car), they jumped into action, got the car into the shop, patched the damaged tire (nice round hold directly in the center of the tread (couldn't have been a better spot)), inflated the donut and put it back where it belonged, and got us back on the road all in under an hour.
What they didn't know was that we were driving my mother's car back to Colorado because she had just passed away exactly 1 week prior. Their professionalism, exuberance and willingness to help, and the timeliness to get us back on the road quickly made a bad situation during a trying time much better.
From me and my family, thank you to all Ed Morse service department members.

WARNING: READ BEFORE purchasing a vehicle at Ed Morse Ford in Geneseo. I have purchased several Ford trucks at Ed Morse and trusted them to service my vehicles for years. My work truck was destroyed in a fire that occurred in their garage while it was getting serviced. The manager, George, called me after the fire and said he would speak to the owner regarding the replacement of my truck and get back to me. I lost track of how many messages I left before he finally called me back. When he called he said their insurance company would not pay me the replacement value of my truck and went on to suggest that I file a claim with MY OWN INSURANCE policy to cover the loss. I’m still without a replacement truck equal in value—mine was heavily modified for farm operations---and critical to the day-to-day operations. Ed Morse offered me the bare minimum payout and refused to make me whole. If disaster strikes, don't count on them to make it right.

This is an odd one, but I'd like to commend this dealership, and specifically Erin, for going above and beyond to help me find a truck, even if I didn't buy one from her. I did find one at another dealership, but Erin came back quickly with several other options to try her best to fit my truck and finance needs. Very real and down to Earth, she was more like dealing with a family friend or relative than a cold sale at a dealership. I didn't buy from her, but was not pressured, just given the best options they could provide in a timely fashion. That is what I want from a dealership, no nonsense, real salespeople. Thanks for that.

Great small town dealership.
I drove about 300 miles from Indiana to purchase a truck from them.
I'd been looking to replace my 12 year old truck, and was looking at dealerships in my home town. To avoid the 2026 price increase, and take advantage of Ford incentives I decided to start Internet shopping for existing 2025s. I found a left over New 2024 Ford truck at Ed Morse with great Ford Incentives, so I decided to inquire about it. The staff was great. Nathan was great in communication. He answered all my questions over the course a week, and I did my best to answer his questions pertaining to my trade. I did inform them that my local dealer was willing to do a dealership trade, but they said it wasn't their policy to do dealership trades normally, and i agree, for good reason.
So, i drove over..
Great atmosphere of a small town dealership, and great personal atmosphere. They did offer me a bit less for my trade than my dealerships in Indiana had; BUT, The truck i bought had so many great Ford Incentives and rebates, that it far offset the lesser trade value of my truck they offered!
My wife and i enjoyed the drive over. We enjoyed meeting the staff!
And we enjoyed dinner at Sweet Peas restaurant that was suggested to us.
BTW
Nathan informed me of an extra 1000. off the price i was eligible to get, which was totally unexpected!!!!
Thanks Nathan!!!
For Awesome customer care!!!
