  Paid $50 for overnight parking with no in/out privileges, which is fine because it’s Chicago and it’s very walkable. We booked online through spothero parking, we reserved a spot and paid, showed up and parked and come to find out the lot is closed at midnight with no way to get in or out- this was not mentioned on spothero parking or anywhere else online, if it was we would have picked a different garage. I left a concert and planned to stop at the garage on the way to the hotel to grab some medication I accidentally left in the car, i got to the garage at 11:45 and was unable to access my vehicle. To worsen the experience, someone had been following me and my group of people and we tried to go to the garage to our vehicle to seek refuge and instead we were left outside the elevator in an unlocked glass room as the man following us sat across the street pacing, watching us and waiting for us to return. I know the crime and someone following us was at no fault of the parking garage, but having the garage closed throughout the night could’ve made that a very unsafe situation. There should be some sort of passcode for re-entry at night or a ticket you can scan to let you to your vehicle. If I had an emergency and needed to leave the hotel to go to the ER or whatever else I would be forced to abandon my vehicle, I think that’s absolutely absurd considering the amount of people that travel to Chicago and May have an emergency and need to leave.
