- JJJeremiah JohnNov 25, 20251.0Will never be coming back. Very pushy sales tactics and they don't care how high of an interest rate you walk out of there with as long as they can sell that camper. If you try backing out and say you're going a different route they continue pushing making you feel you're making a terrible decision if you don't buy from them to the point to where you're there for hours and you're exhausted from sitting there all day. Then once you're exhausted and just want to get out of there with the camper is when they show you the actual numbers, not just the monthly payment. Somewhere between the mix you will be pushed to add on gap and other add ons multiple times, with them saying its only an extra couple bucks a month when in reality its adding on thousands to the already years of interest.
- TRT RNov 19, 20255.0I bought my rv new in 2022. Had the motor on my slide break 5 times ($4,000 each time) but at least was covered by the good sam warranty but it just kept breaking. Was going to Camping World Dekalb. They tried to figure out why it was breaking but didn't know why. They tried replacing more mounts, rollers... Still broke after a short time. That dealer closed so this time went to this camping world and they found the same the slide motor was broken. They dug deeper than the previous guys and found a mess of cracked welds and cracked beam to the frame of the slide. They got it back together and so far so good. Time will tell if this was the cause but with as big of a mess that the welds were and twisting of the supports it really makes sense. I feel really confident its behind me. Big shout out to James the tech for his skill and effort in finding a solution and not just patch it and send it back out the door. They also worked with Thor to get them to help pick up the tab since this has been a problem since it was almost new.
