  Worst experience ever with this company. My parents were just looking and trying to decide on buying an RV, James convinced them to put a No Risk- $500 down to put an RV on hold for a few days while my parents decided if they wanted it or not. They decided to not get the RV and asked for the $500 back. This was the first week in October and they still haven’t gotten their money back. We have called so many times, gone there to pick up the check and they always have an excuse for not having the check ready for him. We talked to a few managers, and they keep passing the blame to each other and not resolving this issue. I’ve read other reviews about this happening to other people, I wish I had read it before we went there in the first place. I do not recommend this company at all. Save yourself the time and money, go somewhere else.

  Terrible experience!! Purchased a new fifth wheel and the day before picking it up they let us know that the shower door was broken in transport and nobody bothered to call us and let us know. When we arrived to pick it up it hadn’t even been cleaned. Warranty work was needed after picking it up and finding quite a few problems with the fifth wheel. Dropped off the fifth wheel for a week and a half so everything could be fixed. Picked up the fifth wheel with being told that everything had gotten fixed except one thing. Got home hooked it all up and after a week all of the problems that were warranty work and said were fixed was indeed not fixed. Unacceptable!!

  Salesman Chris is phenomenal, always answering his phone, relaying my concerns to every departments, making sure all the dots connect and my needs were met! Great job Chris! He went above and beyond! Ask for him when you go in and you wont be disappointed! AND Justin in Finance answered All my concerns, explaining, in detail all my options for an extended warranty (bought used) and put my mind at ease.. He has always been a great communicator for the last 4 trailers we've purchased from the Meridian Idaho location. I highly recommend this Store! Oh, almost forgot, Daniel who went over how to set up the trailer, its functions was above and beyond.. He set up BBQ, we turned on the oven, showed how to put hoses on etc, what each button on the panals were for, slides, stairs, back portion of flushing grey/blk tanks out, (the order) and it was a couple hours. MY hubby wasnt there and later found out he went to Hospital.. so I will be the one setting up the trailer..Gods timing is always perfect! Thank you Camping World, ill always shop here first!   Went and bought a trailer that was 12k before financing. Got a few months behind from personal things. They said there weren’t going to repo it cause I had a payment coming within the week. They lied and repoed it so I had to pay 100s of dollars just to get my belongings out of it. Later I got a notice during me for over 20k. The trailer wasn’t worth that nor was the loan. They took it and sold it and the amount they got from the sale was supposed to go towards what we owed. So let’s do quick math here, cause we all know 20k is a scam especially when you take the years of payments made and the resale I. Top of the sale itself not being near 20k with the financing. This is a sleazy company that will rip you off for twice the amount the sale was. They lie and they cheat. I am all for paying my debts but this is an absolute scam on people who clearly don’t have the money to fight it and they know it. DO NOT go through this sleazy company. Read this while you can cause they will pay or force google to take this down I promise you that!

  Wish I could give zero stars. This place is worse than when it was Bodily RV. The service ends at the sale with this company. Don’t let my horrible experience be your mistake as well. I’ve bought two new RVs from this place and was assured from Camping world that their service was better than when they were Bodily RV. The difference is with Camping World, they also lies to you and if there are any issues they think add on sales is the answer. After spending $50K on a new camper no one wants to spend more money. From the very beginning they lied to us telling us that the tire pressure monitoring system was functioning properly and come to find out, 2 of the batteries in the sensors were dead. I told them during the walk thru that something wasn’t working and they were going to fix it so we signed paperwork only to find out that they said it was fixed but bold faced lied and they had dead batteries. Come to find out, after you drive off the lot that warranty won’t help you. They get to pick and choose what they will and will not fix. Sales is horrible and if you have any problems, you are on your own. Stay completely away from Matt the salesman. These guys are on commission and will do anything to get that sale. Commission breeds desperate behavior. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Anywhere has got to be better than camping world. Traded in a camper with a propane fridge and this new one has a 12 volt. We were told that the solar would keep up but the batteries (440 amp hour) die over night so on top of having a camper payment, we also get to run a generator for 6 hours a day. Sales people don’t listen so of you dry camp make sure you get a propane fridge because there aren’t enough batteries to power a 12 volt for more than a couple of days at best. Hope this helps someone and hopefully you shop elsewhere.
