I went to the facility where I had bought the membership and told the employee in the office that I wanted to cancel. He looked up my account and typed some things in his computer and assured me that the membership was canceled. I asked him if there was a receipt to document this and he said no he couldn’t give me a receipt. A few days later, my bank account was charged for an additional month of membership. When I called the Customer service number, the service representatives tell me they cannot refund me. I’ve called the customer service number five different times, hoping to find someone who is willing to correct the mistake, but my request was denied every time. I’m very frustrated because as far as I knew, and from what I was told by the employee, I had successfully canceled my membership. I don’t know what other thing I could’ve done to cancel my membership, other than going to the office of the car wash and asking them to help me cancel my membership, which I did but which apparently was not sufficient. How could I have known that the employee was giving me bad information?
