He said it was a exhaust leak and its as is. He wont fix it because they dont fix check engine light. Dont worry ill pay for that Jeff. Next time you sell a car make sure all the check engine lights are good. Seems like they just reset the codes and hope we dont see it.
- TBTai BrooksNov 3, 20251.0Purchased a vehicle Oct 1st. After the first week had a warning that the coolant was low. Unsure where the coolant was going. Jeff did have the car tested and serpentine belt fixed, but there were no leaks. All seemed to be fine. There is a 1000 mile/1mo warranty off the lot. Well of course this week (34th day), got the warning that coolant was low. Dealt with Jeff himself. Although it was after the 30th day, the issue was still present from the first week. He said he is not paying for anything else and that he would sell me an extended warranty. He also said that I didnt even thank him for fixing the serpentine belt because he didnt have to do that. Now I have a car with a coolant leak. This lot brags about being Carfax certified. Well, did they not inspect the serpentine belt that was “in shambles?” And what about the coolant leak? The coolant has to be going somewhere. I had never purchased a car from a small downtown Davenport lot. Probably never will again. Nor will I recommend this lot to anyone else.
