My close friend bought a camper from here and repairs took months, and even after all that time, the camper was received damaged. Was told directly by the CEO that they would “make it right,” but nothing ever happened. The lack of follow-through, communication, and accountability is unacceptable. After this experience, I cannot recommend Camping World to anyone.

He listened to what i needed and waited for me to get back to him. Throughout the sale and after he answered all of my many many phone calls and addressed all my issues in a very timely manner. I know he even returned my calls on his day off within just a few minutes! He has followed up multiple times after the sale to make sure I’m happy with the camper.Im not a person who writes reviews to often but it was nice to have a sales person who gets that there’s a honest way to do business! If you’re going to buy a camper from camping world make sure you ask for Stephen!
- SDShawn DouglasSep 17, 20251.0I was optimistic about buying an RV from here, I spent $34,000 on a used 2022 Alpha Wolf. I asked them to include the sales tax in the deal, they agreed verbally over the phone. I came in the next day to pay down payment and sign the paperwork, when we got to the sales tax portion, the finance manager told me that wasn’t part of the deal. I said it absolutely was and was ready to walk at that point, after about 30 seconds on his computer he magically figured it out and “included” the taxes. Over 40 days after the purchase none of my paperwork has been sent in so I can license it and when I called they told me there was an IT error and they have no idea where the money went for my taxes that were agreed upon. They still don’t have an answer, also I had to call multiple times for them to tell me this, they didn’t return my calls or bother notifying me there was any issue. This is absolutely the worst customer service and mismanagement I’ve ever experienced. I get things happen and a simple phone call assuring me they were trying to get it handled would have sufficed, but the fact they couldn’t even do that is unacceptable.Do Not buy anything from here, you’ve been warned my fellow consumers.
