  This gas station has to be one of the best I’ve visited in quite some time. Between their great prices, hospitality, immaculate service, and super friendly staff. It’s an all around great experience. Plus they have very delicious fresh produce. GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT SERVICE

  I don't know what happened to the 16th Ave kum and go but the food quality has dropped. Its like some genius decided to turn up the ovens to "cook faster". What anyone with any sense would know is you burn the outside while the inside is raw. The breakfast bundles are now dough with ice cold sausage in the middle.

  Employees here have very little regard for customer service. Today I came in to buy breakfast burritos, and I happened to walk up as the 'cook" had his first two burritos laid out with clear as day nothing but tots on the tortillas. I asked if he was doing bacon or could and he said it was going to be about 5 to 10 mins. then continued to make brisket/Tot breakfast burritos. Then tells me as I'm standing there waiting these are going to be brisket breakfast burritos. I replied Yeah that's why I asked if you could make them bacon instead. What's the point in this store having an open kitchen if the 'cooks' don't make what's requested? I eat at Maverick Truck Stop and Kum & Go (now the same stores) pretty regularly. Brisket and bacon breakfast burritos are made the same way with tots first, this cook could have put the bacon on the tots instead of the brisket and helped a paying customer. Maverick is putting shame to their name by buying out all these Iowa-run Kum & Go's. It's going to be a shame to see how it turns out. Edit: The owner reached out to me through this post... I did not respond as there is no point I'm not looking for a handout. I made the post clear and plain so they could find the issue and try to correct it. Now to make things worse they have eliminated the use of the full-filling thoroughly cooked tots and resorted to using the ever so cheap most of the time under cooked has brown patties, just to save a few cents. 🥲 I've included a picture with the update please take a look at how sparingly stingy they are with their $5 burritos with the eggs there is more cheese on this burrito than egg. The amount of eggs on there barely fills a spoonful.

  On Friday, they have a buy one get one free pizza. If you want to call them and order pizza, don’t waste your time because they take their phone off the hook. You’re better off to go in the store and order your pizza and see what kind of runaround story they give you.
