If you don’t inspect your vehicle after they’re done (because everyone knows you have to look over a professional’s work) you might be unaware of damages under your vehicle and out of luck if you can’t prove who caused the damage. But, luckily for me an employee told me about the damaged oil plug, only so he can justify the charge for a more laborious oil change service and to also say that the damage was most likely caused by a previous tech from my previous visit. Nonetheless, I was able to speak to the manager the next day proving I only use their service when doing an oil change and presented previous receipts. The manager did reimburse me for the oil plug replacement, which I had to buy first then show him the receipt. Check your bill before paying and question every item they add (oh and watch out for the labor cost). They will add parts or services you didn’t request, or they’ll tell you that they’re giving you a discount, without explaining why. So, remember to step up when they say, “they gave you a discount” and ask why, discount for what?.
