Butler Tire on Powers Ferry rd was a great place to get tires. Mason explained all my options. He also made recommendations based on my driving needs. I will definitely be buying my tires from here from now on. Helpful, friendly and excellent service.

I called Butler Tires & Wheels on 1/29/2026 to make an appointment for Saturday 1/31/26 spoke to TARVIN DUKES an explained that I wanted a 4 wheel alignment, a sound is coming from my wheel & rim area and I believe my leveling kit bolts needed to be tightened. TARVIN DUKES said I can bring the vehicle Saturday just be there at 8:00am because Saturdays are pretty busy, I said "ok". Saturday morning comes it a winter advisory a few snow flurries in Metro Atlanta. Before I drive to Marietta I called Butler Tires at 8am to see if they were open. Fortunately Butler said they were open for business they said come on by so I got there around 8:30am. As soon as I arrive and tell them the make and model of my vehicle TARVIN DUKES steps forward and says I was talking to you on the phone I assume both times I called. He says I need 2 - 4 new tires for a 4 wheel alignment, I say cool. I said but what about the sound coming from my tire/rim area? We will check that. He comes back and says nothing is wrong with your brakes he says they are at 4mm so they are fine. I said what is that sound?? They inspect it again the second time they comeback and say I need rotors and pads ($1500). I say ok cool is that going to stop the whistle TARVIN DUKES says it should. I say do the brakes then. TARVIN DUKES is trying to give me an approximate time the vehicle will be ready the guy next to him says it should be ready around 2:30pm. Remind you I was thereat Butler 2 hours before I left that morning and went back home no one said anything about closing early that day. The sign on the door says close at 4:30pm. TARVIN DUKES calls me at 1:59pm and says your vehicle is ready we are trying close because of the storm but it wasn't snowing no more than it was this morning when I was there. I said okay I am on the way, remind you I Iive 30+mins away and I walk out the house immediately. TARVIN DUKES called me 3 more times within the 30 mins drive asking me about when will I make my payment with Acima and when will I be there because they are trying leave because of the storm. Sir I am on my way. Butler Tires you acts AS IF I AM INCONVENIENCING YOU. TARVIN DUKE I had questions, I at least wanted to inspect the vehicle with someone from Butler to answer my question etc. but I guess they were ready to go. Long story short why when I was driving home the wheels and rims are still making the whistling noise. So my vehicle probably didn't really even need brakes to begin. Butler customer service gets a grade "F". This means no one really drove my vehicle after the "supposedly repairs". After spending $3000.00 you would think the customer service would be alot better & someone could have properly diagnosed it or simply test drove the vehicle after. Now I have to be inconvenienced by bringing my vehicle back there and deal with them some time next week. One question Butler. Is TARVIN DUKES a fairly new Salesperson to Bulter?? TO BUTLER TIRES AND WHEELS YOUR INTRINSIC VALUE IS YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. ONCE YOU CANT EXECUTE THOSE THINGS, NOTHING SEPARATES YOU FROM ANY OTHER TIRE AND RIM SHOP IN METRO ATLANTA AND THEIR HUNDREDS TO CHOOSE.

Great service! I've never had a shop clean my wheels when installing new tires. I was surprised when my vehicle was done that my wheels were sparkly clean with no brake dust. Fast, friendly and professional. They are definitely not the cheapest. But I needed my tires installed quickly and I wanted a shop that has the Hunter Road Force balancing equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions About Butler Tires and Wheels

Do I need an alignment?

During your vehicle's life, potholes are hit, sharp turns are taken, and brakes are slammed all of which cause your components to wear down and your wheels to shift which can pull your car in one direction. This is natural wear and tear, and it can accelerate tire damage. An alignment will return the angles of your vehicle's wheels to the manufacturer's specifications. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations noted in your owner’s manual. As a general rule, have your vehicle’s alignment checked every 6,000 miles or at least twice a year. Have your vehicle checked if you notice excessive or uneven tire wear, steering wheel pulls to the side, feeling of looseness or wandering, your steering wheel is not centered when car is moving straight ahead, it’s been 6,000 miles since your last alignment check, or you notice a drop in fuel economy.

How do I get a free alignment?

At Tire Discounters, when you purchase any 4-tires with our standard installation, you get a free alignment. The alignment is a $129.99 value and comes with a 12-month warranty.
