I have been a customer of Butler Tires and wheels in Austell for over 20 years. The service just keeps getting better! Today I was pleasantly greeted as I came in and Ryan understood completely what I wanted to get done on my Corvette Grand Sport. He got me right in, monitored the job as it was being accomplished and shook my hand as I left, a completely satisfied customer due to the excellent work of the techs who were super careful with the car. Guys, thanks so much. It means a great deal to have a shop to go to that cares!

Well, it's been a while since my last visit to this shop, but the service is STILL A1! I went in to have a wheel alignment done, but found out that the last tire shop in Montgomery, AL where I had service done on my tires, had install a set of locking lug nuts, but they gave me a key that DIDN'T match! Needless to say I was quite upset about this, but the technicians at Butler Tire Service assured me that they would do everything possibly to rectify the problem. They manage to get my old locking lug off and install new one with the right key. Then, they were able to do my wheel alignment and my truck rides like NEW! Now, THIS is what I call going ABOVE and BEYOND customer service! My RESPECT and GRATITUDE goes out to Mr. Rheann Merhi and the technicians. So, if you need your vehicle done RIGHT..........TAKE IT TO THEM and they'll set you STRAIGHT!😃👌🏾👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️👊🏾

I called Butler Tires on Wednesday to get a quote for new tires. I was initially quoted $2,238 by Taylor Drinko. After mentioning that a local tire shop had offered me a lower price that also included an alignment, he reduced the quote to $1,753. Based on that, I brought my car to Butler for service. Toward the end of the appointment, Taylor asked if I wanted an alignment. When I asked the cost, he said it was “only $250.” I explained that I assumed the alignment was included in the original quote, especially since I was purchasing four new tires. His response was that I “might not need one.” However, given how worn my tires were, it should have been mentioned before replacing them, not after. In the end, my total came to about $2,000 nearly $400 more than the competitor’s quote. The lack of transparency about the full service and the timing of the additional charges felt unprofessional and manipulative. I would not recommend having your vehicle serviced here.

Frequently Asked Questions About Butler Tires and Wheels

Do I need an alignment?

During your vehicle's life, potholes are hit, sharp turns are taken, and brakes are slammed all of which cause your components to wear down and your wheels to shift which can pull your car in one direction. This is natural wear and tear, and it can accelerate tire damage. An alignment will return the angles of your vehicle's wheels to the manufacturer's specifications. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations noted in your owner’s manual. As a general rule, have your vehicle’s alignment checked every 6,000 miles or at least twice a year. Have your vehicle checked if you notice excessive or uneven tire wear, steering wheel pulls to the side, feeling of looseness or wandering, your steering wheel is not centered when car is moving straight ahead, it’s been 6,000 miles since your last alignment check, or you notice a drop in fuel economy.

How do I get a free alignment?

At Tire Discounters, when you purchase any 4-tires with our standard installation, you get a free alignment. The alignment is a $129.99 value and comes with a 12-month warranty.
