    I went to buy a Volvo on Friday and the manager never came to speak with me and my husband as we were getting a quote for a car that I was gonna pay in cash. They wouldn’t budge at all and the manager never ever came over to talk with us like other car dealers at least the manager would come over and talk to you and be courteous, but Derek did not and then when we went to pick up the car, the inside was dirty, not cleaned was just vacuumed and washed the passenger sides on the leather were dirty just as they were when I looked at it on Friday. The sales person was wonderful, but other than that, I was not pleased.

    What can I say except Thank you for a great experience with your dealership. We just purchased our XC60 certified pre-owned from you and from the first time we spoke until making it back home 3 hours away it was a great experience.( George even though enough to check on us to make sure that we got home safely because it was a 3 hour drive home) We had a great experience with George our salesman and everyone else that day who were there working together to get our deal together and finished. Excellent service and they had everything possible ready to go when we arrived. We will definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a new vehicle. 5 Stars !!!!!!!

    We had an amazing experience at Volvo of Tampa! Manager Derrick Smith, Sales Consultant Julian Santiago, and Finance Manager Shelby Dempsey were all fantastic. We stopped by late last night and never felt rushed. We came back today and were in and out within just a few hours from start to finish. We highly recommend this team—and we absolutely love our new XC40!

    I had a very disappointing experience with Volvo Tampa service center. In August 2025, I brought in my 2022 Volvo XC60 because the battery had died. They replaced the battery under warranty, which I appreciated. However, just three months later, the battery died again, and I had to tow the car back to the service center. This time, they informed me that the battery was “probably” faulty once again. What’s frustrating is that they didn’t get my consent before replacing it; they just went ahead and did it without notifying me. This lack of communication and accountability from both Paul Langford (service director) and Chris Alvarez(service advisor) is unacceptable, especially since the battery’s short lifespan indicates it was faulty from the start. I own three Volvo vehicles and will never bring them here for service again.

    But the biggest safety hazard is the infotainment system that does not work and you never know when it will completely go on the fritz. I bought a 2025 XC 90 in April and the infotainment system has never worked properly. The car has been picked up by Volvo and taken to the shop to be fixed multiple times and has never been fixed. I paid $76,000 for a car that if I tried to sell it would take a gigantic loss because a critical part of the vehicle is defective. Every person I have spoken to has been nice, polite and tried to help but nobody has the authority to address the problem. This needs to be elevated to Volvo Car USA. I have to wonder how many other people are having the same problems and how many accidents it might have caused. I would like a refund which is what I have asked for from the very beginning. If I had bought a broken vacuum cleaner, I would have been able to return it. If I can’t return the car then at least give me a refund so that I will have only paid what the defective vehicle was worth.
