- RBRichard BequetteOct 15, 20252.0Why in the world would a gas station set their credit card pre-authorization at only $75 with gas prices these days? I could only get 3/4 of a tank. What if I was pulling my boat? I put gas in the boat at a Wawa a couple weeks ago, and their credit authorization went to $175. Much better. It's just revenue left on the table and an inconvenience for customers. Then on top of that, there's no paper at the pump to print my receipt. I have to walk inside. Just a sign of a poorly run business when they cant take care of the basics.

The only reason I'm not leaving a one star, is because it is a nice store. It's in good shape, and they offer a lot of decent products. That being said, the place is taking a big turn for the worst. I work nearby so I frequent this location. They used to have a general manager, short possibly Hispanic gay woman, and the place ran great with her. I haven't seen her in some time, and subsequently, the store has has definitely began operating worse. It used to be a quick in and out, but now, there's always a very long line with only one cashier. Customer service has faltered. They have a new burger, and haven't made it in over a week. When I ask somebody if they're going to have it, his answer was that they don't have the box for it so they're just not going to make it. I feel like you could just make it and put it in a bag instead, but what do I know? I'm only a restaurant manager so I guess I have no perspective. This message is more for the company, than for the customers. I don't know what it's going to take, but I highly recommend getting your old GM back (or one of comparable mettle). She was running this place great, now, it's not so great.
